12. I never thought I would see the day where there is American players starting for Chelsea, Juventus, Leipzig, Barcelona, and Borussia Dortmund. Tell me five years ago that we'd have a player on even one of those teams and I'd be thrilled, let alone five all at once. This upcoming generation of players has a ton of depth and there's seriously dozens of them both in Europe and in the MLS that could turn America into an actually respected footballing nation.

    What America needs to really grow in to a country that can compete consistently for years to come is a generation of players that can popularize football in the U.S. to a level it's never been at, and I think these players are gonna be the ones to do it.
