USA vs. Ghana Second Round – US Fans cheering at Jake’s Steaks in San Francisco after Donovan’s penalty kick to tie the game 1-1. Fans packed the Marina district bar since 9AM in preparation for the big game, cheering, eating cheesesteaks, and drinking beer.

  1. @CMob09 yup, exactly.. i only wish more of us Americans would give it enough of a chance to recognize that. Not entirely our fault tho, I've been watching/playing all my life, and remember just years ago needing to pay for every Fox Soccer Channel and Setanta Sports package you could possibly think of just so that I could actually watch a WC match. Glad ESPN sees the increased interest in the US and now–albeit we gotta wake up at like 5am Saturdays–we can watch EPL from home (unlike UK)! 🙂
