  1. It's always gonna be like this with the men's Team until they stop holding back true talent to keep the face of the team in a certain skin complexion.

  2. pulisic playing for champions league winner chelsea (at a high level) is such a BIG boost for the global perception an american soccer
we have guys playing for barca and juve! a backup keeper at city? when has this ever been a thing?! great things

  3. Seb still thinking like a small soccer national team. Qualifying isn't big for american soccer. Qualifying AND doing something special at the world cup is big for american soccer. Doing something special at the world cup is what turns heads globally towards american soccer. Getting players succeeding at world class clubs is what turns heads towards american soccer.

  4. You guys act 2018 wasn't the same way. We HAD to beat Panama to qualify. We HAD to beat Trinidad in 2017 and Panama is BETTER than Trinidad. We're happy we are in. We are NOT HAPPY HOW IT HAPPENED. We were a bad game vs Panama away from repeating. If we clinched LAST window that would be different. This talent should be good enough to have finished 1st. but the tactics aren't good enough. As is this team won't advance in December.

GGG has the summer to figure out the tactics and the personal. Reyna needs to be in the middle. We lack creativity even with Weston on the field coming out of the middle. Chelsea likes to pass the ball into the back of the net too and even they have goal scoring issues with the world class talent they have. Did they win the Champions league? Yes. With world class talent. This team needs a shot in the arm and Greg is an average level MLS coach.

I hope we advance and it all clicks. But under greg we have ZERO ground to stand on that hope outside the players overcoming his awful tactics. When our fullbacks push so high up that our 8's are playing BEHIND them almost in their position good teams will wreck us. I hope we get lucky because it seems like that's what it will take. Don't give the keys for a Porsche to someone who loves $40,000 Toyota's ??‍♂️

  5. Berhalter is going to be the reason we get smoked by teams in group stage. We barley qualified against a lot of weak teams.

  6. I agree that Herc is right that we could have played better, but I think we failed to realize that CONCACAF is strong. It's hard to win at Costa Rica. We haven't taken a point from Costa Rica in WC qualifying history. Canada is so good now. Their golden generation has produced one of their most talented squads in recent history. Mexico and the US are both in the fifa top 15 in the rankings. Let's just be happy that we qualified, and the team will make the necessary adjustments for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

  7. México with its worst team in years and anyway they’re tied on top, shows how mediocre our confederation is, even Canada with their might couldn’t get away with more points against a mediocre Panama

  8. I know Instagram is a microcosm, but just look at the comments on BR and 433. The US will ALWAYS be an underdog that’s laughed at until we can knock out, consistently, bigger teams. Hopefully 2026 is the year, when these young players hit their prime

  9. Sebastian is so wrong ?‍♂️ my perception is still the same towards the national team and I've followed them before 2014 WC were still mediocre only with a lot more talent
