  11. USA’s problem is pay to play, only the rich can play. Other countries if you’re poor you can play. That’s the difference, the money provides opportunity vs pure talent.

  14. Pepi has to find the way to finish that, no ifs or buts. I also wonder why they don't invite Djordje Mihailovic on USMNT squad. His touch and passing ability are head and shoulders above anyone on this team.

I mean this was horrendous from our players but besides Pepi and Turner none of these guys are near our top players (I know Acosta played but he should not be considered one of our top players even if Berhalter inexplicably plays him). Anyway you know with games its no win from our fan base. If we had won 3-0 they'd write it off because of how poor the opposition was and if we win 1-0 we get criticized. This game never mattered anyway. But yes we need to raise our expectations. I know in Europe soccer has been the number 1 sport for over 120 years and in the US it is the 5th sport and even 15 years ago was like the 7th sport, but this is the US, so if/when we qualify for 2022 we better not be celebrating it like its a big accomplishment. US Soccer needs to end the pay to play system, focus less on fitness and more on technique and developing creative players. And US Soccer needs to stop thinking that just qualifying for World Cups and getting to the round of 16 because our players play above themselves is enough. We need to see multiple Pulisics and American players at higher levels than Pulisic in the coming years. I think we can do it, but lets see what happens

  26. In all honesty , just pathetic . They played against 10 Bosnian tourists after that ridiculous red card and barely win in the last moments? bare in mind , this Bosnian selection was scraped at the last moment from the weak national league and you can’t even call them H team , let alone A , B or C? I get it, even USMNT wasn’t at full strength but at least some of them are being considered for the A team? on top of that when I hear the “objectivity” of the commentators I honestly rooted for them to lose. I like the actual USMNT selection, young talents playing professionally in Europe that if allowed to play together consistently may actually have a chance to reach a semifinal or quarterfinal for the WC 2026 but what I saw today was garbage which makes me believe that the pool outside of the first team is very thin and USA has still way to go to become competitive on the world stage.

  28. Was easy to see that very few belong on the main roster, no question I would take Morris over arriola , and the talent gap between Acosta and adams is astounding, we need to find a better option for the number 2 spot at cdm
