What I don't get is the US was beaten by Canada in Canada by a Canadian side that has not lost a game, is in first, has scored 50 goals in World Cup Qualifying with only 6 goals against (in all rounds) Mean While the US is (and was after this match) in second place, was a very good record, very GD. Yet American fans seem to think the US should be dominating
It isn't like 2018 where the US imploded.
Canada is a very good side which a very strong defence and a very smart attack. I don't think Americans have a whole lot to complain about to be honest.

I love listening to you guys, I need an answer, why isn't someone calling Berhalter out about the MLS garbage on these call ups. Why is it so difficult for our federation to say our best players are not on these rosters. We play to make it to the cup and compete at it. We are a team that has a better than average player pool yet we still pick these MLS guys. Our tactics suck. It looks like a youth team with no clue. Why is Brooks at home no CCV no Busio we have guys playing in Europe yet we play MLS. Stop pushing the league on our national.team. it cost us the last world cup and we are not looking good now! Help me understand

I think fans need to remember there are two teams on the field. Im a mexico fan and i think our fan base is the worst. We lose or tie to a solid USA or Canadian Squad and we bash our team. Canada is no joke, it's not a fluke team there's a reason they're on top .
Ok so this idea that there are "better" players in front of Pulisic at Chelsea is based on what exactly? Compare the track records in Chelsea kits between Pulisic and those players — even with the injuries — and tell me with a straight face that there's 4 players better than him in front of him. You can't. No other player in the attack has a collection of goals and assists against Real Madrid in two legs, Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal in a cup final, Valencia, Porto… and that's just with Chelsea. None of the other players have that resume.
He needs to stay healthy and play consistently. When Lampard realized that, he exploded. Tuchel started realizing that last year and the Porto, Real Madrid and Crystal Palace stretch happened and then he kept picking up knocks.
This idea that players like Callum fucking Hudson-Odoi and Timo Werner have been better is laughably false especially considering the amount of roles Pulisic is forced to take on.
Two points in that group of games,we get three points in one game….
What GGG can't understand is that there is a scenario where having the most possession is a negative stat. That scenario is losing with 0 goals. No goals came from all that. Exposes poor finishing, which has always been a weakness in GGGs game. He's the master of lateral and back passing

Totally agree with Manuel's comments regarding Pulisic.
Performance was good. They did exactly what GGG wanted them to do. The game plan sucked though, that's on GGG
Respect to our southern neighbours. It'll be great for both Nations to finally have more consistently competitive matches. We'll make each other better and ultimately represent NA on the world stage the way we both want to.
USMNT lacking creativity, speed, horrible starting lineup (Zardes as center forward and Pepi on the bench? where was Zimmerman as central defender?), time for a new coach with strategy? What a frustrating game to watch!
It’s just plain and simple the players are tired of playing for this clown. Move on, or really lose such a great opportunity to grow a great generation.
As a Mexican American , supporting both opting to root for Mexico first… Now everyone in the USMNT understand the frustration with Tara Martino as a director. Flawed

Regarding Pulisic
1) He has not played well in the last two games, 100% true. 2) Those, including Manuel (laughable to say Pulisic is 5th on the Chelsea depth chart of attackers), who believe he is an average player, are simply wrong (see Pulisic's contribution to Chelsea's CL title, esp. vs Real Madrid, and most recently the Chelsea v Liverpool game). 3) Is Pulisic overhyped, yes, but in the same way Canadians overhype their current team, which is easy to do when you haven't had much success. 4) Considering the incompetence of Gregg and staff, it is difficult to assess the performance of Pulisic and others. 5) To further complicate Pulisic's evaluation, he is played out of position at Chelsea (he is not a center forward nor a true wingback).
Conclusion: Pulisic haters go away, your conclusions are foolish at best. Does he need to play better, yes, but the same can be said of almost every single USMNT player. The true issue for the USMNT is the FACT that Gregg and staff are incompetent, as demonstrated by roster selection, tactics, subs, in-game management, and Gregg's post-game comments.

Am not sure we have enough midfielders or forwards who link up enough to create chances. Our forwards just don't get it done and we never see DLT..ever!!

I was looking at quite a few comments over on Chelsea sites this morning and they really think GGG is an absolute joke. The guy at We Ain't Got No History over on SB Nation called him "The man with 3 GGG's but no clues." Lol
GGG's press conference was tge most pathetic press conference in soccer history. Saying we dominated the game. Blaming the field on the loss. Saying how impressed he was with every player. Embarrassing.
Manuel said the truth about Pulisic at the end. He gave the cold hard facts ??
