   Edit: In the past year Stanford has had 4 suicides….that's an abnormally high amount. Even 1 a year is odd. And I go to a huge university in Boston. Something may be off here. 11. When you break your arm, doctors put a cast on it. It’s something you can see and touch. When you’re depressed there is no bandage you put on it. People have a hard time understanding when your depressed because they can’t see the illness. As a person who has had to fight depression for years, I know how to hide it. I can feel the trauma and devastation in my life, but I’ll laugh and be bubbly on the outside. It’s hard to let people in when your depressed.i feel bad for the parents, they will always question if they could have done something different.

25. We need to start looking into possible head injuries that may change peoples personalities and lead them toward depression and suicide.
