  1. I was Born in the US but I was raised very close to my Mexican culture. My parents were fortunate enough to become US citizens and were able to take me down to Mexico where my parents were raised. I got to see, feel and experience the roots where my family came from. That itself stained my Mexican pride for everything I stood for. However, I am 23 now and I find the current USMNT growing on me. This sense of pride of having an American soccer team represent my generation is awesome. It feels weird to say it but I’d never thought I would root for the USMNT because growing up I was always against them Vs Mexico ??
Mexico is still my #1 but who knows that might change down the road.

  2. I’m not Mexican, not even by heritage, and being of Latino decent I still can’t relate to Mexican heritage. I am ? American and I am passionate about supporting our USMNT fanatically ??. This rivalry is an amazing contribution to The beautiful game ⚽️.

  3. it is actually Mexico vs the whole CONCACAF
literally every national team from the Area claim to have a rivalry vs Mexico
the difference is that the US has a massive amount of coverage that overhypes their games vs Mexico
    in a 100 years
the US has never won an official game IN mexico, how the hell is it a rivalry when you have only won at home but also lost at home and away, Honduras and Costa Rica HAVE ACTUALLY WON IN MEXICO CITY and taken the 3 points out.

  4. I have Mexican blood but was born in the US. I love the US. It’s all I know. I don’t know any other place in the world outside of US. But I’ll always support Mexico. I gotta follow my blood, roots, and family.

  5. I can care less. As an American, I can’t believe that the government neglected millions of people work so many hours for POVERTY WAGES while corporations are boasting massive profits while the cost of living is goddamn expensive.

Tax loopholes, tax cuts, bailouts, why is it so goddamn hard to actually be proud to be American?

But no, everytime I said this, republicans voters called me a “liberal” this is why America is so divided. Smh

Apparently, guns are more important than economy according to republican voters. Smh

  6. Mexican in my blood ?? ?
America is forever in my heart❤️?? I love the mexican culture that has been given to me no doubt at all but I will forever be grateful to be born in U.S soil that provided me everything since birth! God bless America ??

  7. Had I been good enough I would have a had 3 national teams to choose from. Italy, US, or Guatemala. I feel less hispanic because I'm half and I'm a light skin compared to my siblings so Guatemala would never have been on the table. Frankly, when the last time you heard Guatemala was good at soccer. As a kid I rooted for the US. When I got to high school I wanted to be different so I started to embrace my Italian heritage that I have from my grandfather who was born there. Now I'm 24. If you ask me who I root for. I choose Italy everyday. But I support US soccer as well because thats what I was raised thru

  8. Julian Aruajo and David Ochoa were smart to jump ship to Mexico. They were pretty low in the US depth chart and have a much better chance of getting on the field for Mexico. However, both played the victim on the way out. Just own your decision either way.

  9. Born in Guadalajara Jalisco… Raised in the USA.. been here my whole life since 2.. not by choice but I'm proud of this country and proud to be here now..but I will always be with mexico.. it's just me.. regardless of whom they want me to be out there . Nothing but respect to both great nations

  10. If your a true soccer fan (IS NOT )
    Mexico vs Usa
This match dont matter what matters is when u get to world cup the real rivalry is the europeans because if u cant beat them we will never win a World Cup
Do u understand or you still stuck with this so call rivalry

  11. I think at this point its on the players best interest because we don't show the real truth behind this narrative that most media places on these players. Some players played for the youth side of the national teams and its a huge difference when you speak on this. SO at the end of the day they have to pick what's best for them to keep playing year round at high levels. Pepi is a great! but in no way will he compete with Raul Jimenez for a starting job its that simple, so what does he do? he picks what's his best option for his game to keep evolving. Same with players who are not Mexican American. Same thing with Alex Roldan. such an amazon player for Seattle but the guys on the USMNT are loaded in his spot, so he must pick El Salvador to keep playing. All these guys want to do is play the sport they love they just happen to be lucky to have two options. Media makes up the rivalry they are just living their lives to enjoy their success.
