  1. 4-4-2 Ferrera and Wright/Weah would be interesting. We have plenty of solid midfielders (more so than forwards) so that would play to a strength.

  2. If Jedi is floating forward in the press then whoever is in the center better have wheels because Hakimi is fast as hell and will exploit space in the counter completely. I'd lean towards Yedlin/Zimmerman/Long/Jedi and depending how it goes and what we see, sub in someone of EPB/Scally/CCV. Edit: I saw that Hakimi will be in this game but that info could be wrong.

  3. Great pod guys. Morocco fan here and looking forward to the game. Happy to say that Hakimi has now joined up with the squad in the US. We have a few injuries but the squad is looking relatively strong. Watch out for Tissoudali, who’s been exceptional since joining the national team for the first time just a few months ago. ??

  4. Charlie doesn't know what he's talking about in regards to GK's. Typically keepers are much more supportive of each other and willing to teach than out fielders. Also a team like Real Madrd have the pull to loan him to other good clubs, which is a big asset for young keepers.

  5. Terrific show. I think that Morocco will play their best 11. They have Canada in their group, so this is an opportunity to play an opponent of an opponent. It can be a good guage of how they might get on against Canada.

  6. It all depends on whether Morocco bring their best team or not. Friendlies rarely involve the best eleven of each team. I think Morocco will outclass the USA in almost every department. Apart from Pulisic, the USA has their weakest team in decades. Jesus Ferreira at 5'8" is too short for a world-cup striker. Berhalter has left it far too late to figure out his best eleven.

  7. Guys, love your channel! ❤ Been watching since the early days. Would love to hear y'alls thoughts on the Boehly led consortium takeover and how they are like as owners in American sports as well as Slonina links to Chelsea?? ?? Would love if you can discuss on the next show ?

  8. Great job boys!! Like I said some actual tough decisions are gonna have to be come November as well as this window and September friendlies. Charlie and Heath and maybe jimmy( I came in late) eluded to how much of an impact Aaronson and weah can be, but the key is Greg playing to the teams strengths and the actual success we’ve have in the win loss column. When we decide to concede possession instead of needing 65-75 percent we are getting a draw or win almost every match. And there’s a reason for that. Weston, pulisic DLT Jedi dest and weah are terrific. Now you take an emerging number 10 talent in Aaronson and Gregg needs to continue to play counter attacking football with technically skilled players who have vision and not rely on athleticism and or work rate to be more important. So if you really build and 11 around that concept I like
    Weah(Ferrara)(haji)
    Pulisc. Aaronson. Weah(gio in Qatar)
    DLT. Weston
Jedi. CCV. Zim. Scaly(dest in Qatar)
    Horvath(most likely to be playing)
You could put EPB back there two as CB which I would prefer over Zim and even richards who did well this year but from the 6s to the 9 there’s no other lineup someone could
Tell me what doesn’t give us the best chance to both play possession when needed and go play geg and press and win the ball back and turn it into offense bc those players all do that at an elite level.
