The US U-20s take on Nicaragua for a spot in the quarter-finals of the CONCACAF U-20 Championship, that qualifies for the U-20 World Cup in 2023 and the Olympics in 2024. @tac and I break down all the action for you.

diego luna is soccer's luka doncic
Diego Luna bad he full have balance the national team no have have any of that type of player. A midfield maestro Luna
There’s a golf cliche of “One good shot makes for a good round” and I feel this is the mentality of some fans. They did this 1 thing right this 1 time therefore they had a great performance
Nicaragua eliminada otra vez????
Daaamn!! We all miss Diego Luna here in El Paso. He was one of our best if not the best player we had with the Locomotive " Locos"…..
But, we're all happy to see him in the MLS, and especially with the U20 USMNT….

Hater confirmed
Why do we play Nicaragua and why is Mexico playing Puerto Rico when neither was in the group stage?
Really good stuff here. Love the discussion about our academy system, player development, etc.
Between last yrs Revelations Cup & this tournament, I've seen ZERO from Cowell. His technical/tactical skill has not improved, he's certainly not the hardest worker coming back on defense and has not really done anything on offense especially in this tournament against very poor competition. Beisdes his strength/size he brings nothing imo. I was expecting him to dominate so far
Sullivan dominated again! Love this guy's comittment to finishing.
Luna reminds me of Cuatemoc Blanco
He is gonna be the next Xavi
Diego "The Refrigerator" Moon ?
You guys make a great point at the 28th minute re the current US coaching philosophy. I have personally experienced this phenomena in the orlando area…many coaches pick the biggest, fastest athletes early on (about 12-13) and think they can create soccer players…as opposed to identifying IQ and skill…lol. classic hoofball. By the time these kids are16/17 their teams perform poorly against teams who developed technical IQ players. SMH
I think you should review your pre-match pessimism and compare that to what happened. Our reserves won 5-0 and had they been less profligate in front of goal could have doubled that, despite playing Berhalterball.
Great job, Diego Luna !!!??⚽️??
I wish the federation would publish these full games on YouTube after they have been played and aired if they are. There is no excuse for them not to have that ability built into their tv contracts, especially for the non Senior teams games. u20 and down.
Biggest thing about Luna is that although he’s a dual nat, he’s already committed to the US. He’s a great kid man, when he was in EP he would work out at a local gym outside of what the team asked from him. I’m so excited for him.
"it puts the Roldan on its team"
Awesome you're interviewing Tom Byer. He is one of the reasons why Japan is so technical. Crazy US soccer doesn't use any of his knowledge
13:45 also I and many others find so much joy in overhyping players. Even the trolling kinda overhyping. Love some Brek Shea
Brian Kleiban should be coaching the u20s
