There are a few minutes left before the Canada vs USA game starts and obviously my full support goes to Canada for many reasons. since Canada even though they have good players with excellent individual quality like fowards Larín and David's both, Eustaquio, Atiba Hutchinson, and Buchanan make a strong fast and effective midfield. In my opinion the Achilles heel of Canada can be the defensive part of the team and the goalkeeper Borjan. but beyond that, the truth is that Canada has a good game as a team and I think that is where they have their greatest virtue, that is why today they are number one in the tie. come on Canada you can beat USA.

USA has an advantage:
1- Canada lost its 2 best players(Alphonso, Eustaquio)
2- USA played in a cold place while Canada played in heat in Honduras. So, USA will deal better with the cold conditions in Canada.
3- USA has a 1 hour travel to Canada while Canada has a 5 hours travel back to Canada.
4- USA has more depth and can rest many player while Canada has to play with same players.
5- Canada will not in a full stadium due to Covid restrictions.

Hey Steve, well done again. This game is going to be fast because both teams got "SPEED". I do not think the game will be like in Honduras, it will have alot of quickness not grab & complain. Personally, the USA wants them & Canada in, knock Mexico off the throne. Just hope the referee has his runners on because these boys are going to run him out from the pace of the game. Prediction for this game, Canada 1 – USA 1 but then only the Lord knows. Go Canada. Go Costa Rica & Jamaica.

The usmnt is nothing to be feared. Canada needs come out and to play to win. Smack in the mouth from the start and keep the pressure on them. With the right amount of pressure on them and the usmnt will break. I have faith in John Michaelangelo Herdman to have the brotherhood ready to play for each other and represent Canada to the fullest. LET'S GO CANADA!!

Herdman clearly went with a watered down roster against Honduras to go all out on Sunday. I will say Canada will have to match the US’s physicality/pressing, it’s how we conceded that goal in Nashville and why I’m kind of glad Eustaqio won’t play because as great as his passing and set pieces are, he really lacks that physical presence that you love to see in a midfielder. If we don’t let the US hold us down with their pressing and can get forward, I totally see Canada snatching this, for some reason I’m sensing a 3-2 win for Canada, GCG!

America really isn't a very strong team. It's not the team with Donavan or Lawless. They'll be fortunate to leave the "Donut Box" with a point.
A draw keeps us in 1st place on at least goal difference (assuming Mexico don't beat CR by 5 or more).
A tough one to play without Davies on the pitch, but these guys have shown resilience for years when missing their best players.
Hoping for a win but would be fine with a draw. GO CANADA!
