  1. Canada the new Brazil in the concacaf region and don't feel like it stop there when they go to the world cup they won't be a pushover there will be just as good has they are now world cup contender no joke nuff respect from a Jamaican living in Canada

  2. The problem with the US is that Berhalter’s “system” is very predictable and one note, and plays into the US weakness. If you’re going to rely on playing wide to get forward and whip crosses in, you need a target style striker to get on the end of those, and we don’t have that. The US should be putting more creativity in the midfield, and scoring from open play. Berhalter keeps trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Also the draw away win at home mentality needs to get trashed. The US has the quality that we should expect and demand results in CONCACAF.

  3. i'm expecting snooze ville honestly.
Canada only needs a draw to have an excellent chance at first place.
Placing does not mean much for qualification positioning
The US might be in trouble with a loss so that is going to limit their risk taking.
Also, the US has not been playing up to it's full standards… either that or this US team is not as good as previous teams. Given the roster, i find this difficult to believe. So translation. They are playing below their level and have been for the whole tournament. I doubt we will see anything less here. A draw basically puts them through.

  4. I will say… despite being a USMNT fan, I trust the CANMNT to perform better game I and game out. If both qualified and the World Cup started tomorrow, I’d trust Canada to go further. They have great players, great goalkeeper. But probably the most important thing, John herdman is a tremendous manager. USMNT has great talents everywhere on the field, but who cares when we can’t put the pieces of the puzzle together. That’s why I think Canada would go further in the World Cup, I don’t think it’s ridiculous to say. They’re a great team and I’m excited for this game

  5. I so wish usmnt had john herdmann as the coach!! Canada has several really talented players and its nice to see the usmnt have some real competition. It will make both teams better and more successful in WC!! Its time for both countries to be better than mexico and for mexico to have more respect for both teams!! No they don't look in the mirror and wish they were u mexico!! Your not that good anymore!! You barely beat jamaica and they only had 10 men and led for big part and your coach celebrated like you were playing in the finals of the WC!!
Canada deserves respect and usmnt should feel lucky with Davies not playing!! Love my usmnt but much respect to Canada!!!

  6. Thank you for the great content! Terrific analysis and insight as always. Would be great for Les Rouges to pick up 3 points on Sunday afternoon and give me some bragging rights over my brother-in-law. Keep up the great work!!
    ??????

  7. Did either of these 2 watch Canada's matches? Conrad saying Canada's going to launch balls to test the US' backline is totally off – they play 1-2 touch and have the best 'team' in the hex. Wait until Herdman roasts Greg tactically and Greg is left with his hands in his pockets out of ideas.

  8. USA has an advantage:
1- Canada lost its 2 best players(Alphonso, Eustaquio)
2- USA played in a cold place while Canada played in heat in Honduras. So, USA will deal better with the cold conditions in Canada.
3- USA has a 1 hour travel to Canada while Canada has a 5 hours travel back to Canada.
4- USA has more depth and can rest many player while Canada has to play with same players.

  9. Canada needs to be tested by teams like France, Argentina, Brazil etc. I hope they do well this World Cup and hopefully they don’t land in a group of death.

  10. I gotta tell ya. I wouldn't have believed 5 years ago that the Canadian Men's National team would be considered a credible threat to defeat both Mexico and the USA back to back. Like, maybe a lucky goal to win 1-0….but to lead the Ocho and dominate the region….come on.

  11. I think for me this one will answer who the best team in concacaf is. I think it is the states in terms of ceiling but that Canada has better consistency of play. If Canada win and berhalter plays his top guys I think I will be proven wrong. I am a Canada fan but I started watching in the round of 32 when I was stoked to be beating teams like haiti. I just think we should be managing our expectations. We are good and probably better than we have ever beem but we are still not a super team
