for the love of god someone tell commentators to use the first name when it comes to Icelanders, they just keep saying who's daughter they are, I am sure it is a point of pride to have to have your dads first name on your back but we never ever use it for self identification. this is how it sounds to us= "john's daughter now has the ball, johns daughter passes to Mark's daughter, Mark's daughter plays it forward…"
After watching the U20 WNT I can definitely say that Alyssa Thompson #11 will be a future star for the US if she can remain healthy. The girl has good "Football" skills and understand how to play the game better than 95% of the players on the USWNT. Andrea Kitahata is also one to keep an eye on.

I would watch the women's soccer over the pathetic men's anyday! Iceland are overachievers! USWNT has done more for US soccer the last last 10-15 years than any men's national team in any sport….
Iceland played well to their abilities; just this USWNT version was too quick and too skilled for them.

69:20 minute Sophia gets the ball and the Iceland player follow her foe 3 or 4 seconds and the referee finally does something right.
68:12 minutes Sophia Smith is grabbed from the back and 3 referees didn't see it.
Again, on the 63.40 minutes, foul on Sophia Smith inside the 18 yards, and NO penalty call. What is going on with the Referee?
