34. The US has been fantastic recently, today not so much. The height advantage lead to an old school high cross tactic, which Mexico covered very well. The US's strength is to get it deep in the box and low cross/cut back pass. Why the tactic wasn't adjusted at half-time or at any point in the game is poor game management. Today's struggles were almost entirely tactical. Finishing didn't help the cause, Purce is a very poor finisher, but the only cross they managed to complete was the goal. Even then it was the put-back after the initial miss.
