  22. Football in America is, for many reasons, just not comparable with European football. And as long as they call it "soccer", they will never "get it". 
    Wheather you say FC Barcelona, Manchester United or Ajax, just compare it to LA Galaxy or Colorado Rapids, and we are all LOL.
    Soccer in America is just a poor copy of what we have in Europe.

I am not an American, i am from a Place far far away in a corner of the world called Nagaland….but one thing i've seen this FIFA world cup 2014 is the rise in Passion of this game that was ignited long time ago but never felt by the people. But this year, this year the People who were stereotyped as "PEOPLE WHO CAN'T PLAY SOCCER/FOOTBALL" shocked the world by their Play, their commitment and a Nation that was once considered as a rookie stands among the "TOP" Nations. My salute to the USA Soccer team for bringing your country together and making them realize that this GAME is here to stay and indeed…………………" The Sleeping Giant has awaken" Good Luck mates.

Americans don't love football, they like the fact about participating in something with the world like in the Olympics , and as all can see most of them just wear USA colors but not the National Team Shirt , they don't have Football chants like all the other countries does.("I Believe" is the a very mediocre chant and is the only one they know apart just screaming U-S-A). They remember football every 4 years,their national team and league doesn't have any history or tradition that in a matter of fact that's what football is all about.(Baseball is the only sport in USA with tradition and history) Their league is based on teams formed by Commercial Brands as Red Bull. No classics between teams and no rivalry. Football teams across the world have survive wars, dictartorships, economic crisis. In US they were force to create a league so they can host a World cup (1994) so please don't call yourself Football fans.

We'll make a good showing, USA will, that's all that matters at this point in time.  We have not suffered enough pain yet through set-backs and tough losses to win a World Cup.  The German handball in '02, the thrashing in '06, the RO16 loss to Ghana in '10, the draw with Portugal this time and fighting through Jozy's hamstring injury, it's all part of the process.  Remember too that one of our very best players (Charlie Davies) was struck down and almost killed and has never come back for USMNT consideration.  Where do you think we'd be with another Clint or Jozy or Jermaine caliber player up front or roaming the midfield?  All champions have to pay their dues, we have not paid them quite enough yet, but as we progress in ability and support we will until USMNT identity, character, resolve, world reputation snowballs into an unstoppable force.  Disagree if you like, the signs are all around and won't be denied.  Prediction… ~ USA ~ World Cup Champions (Star number 1) in 2030 (Head Coach ~ Landon Donovan)

  33. I don't care about anybody trolling, spouting off on who's national team is better or any of that crap. What this video means is that Americans have finally embraced the beautiful game that's played around the world. Our National team is competitive, our domestic league is growing by leaps and bounds and soccer (football) is played everywhere in the US. I've been waiting for 40+ years for this. This video brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for posting.

I really hope that you can win to belgium and face Argentina in the next round, but if you dont… well, I really like the USA football fans (soccer as you call, to be honest does not matter how you call it, you love the sport and that is the main important thing) . No matter how your society looks you, but USA footballs fans, still supporting the game and team that you love, even against your own society… that is amazing and deserve all my respect. (USA society likes more american football or beisball, but you stand loving soccer)… good luck and I do not know if you can win a cup now (there are srongest teams than US)… But I am 100% sure that you will have a huge chance to win the America cup in 2016 in USA when all the countries of the continent will play in North america.
