    The judgement has exposed the lies of the Womens team involved. They have brought the US Football Associations and the game into disrepute with these false and inaccurate claims.     These women also need to learn some lessons in humility. They thrashed a very poor and amateur Thailand team 13-0 in the recent WC and celebrated EVERY goal like they had won the world cup. In the Mens game goals are not celebrated after 3-0 (game is pretty safe at 3 up), especially against amateurs ! Disgusting behaviour from USA women ! Learn some respect !

16. I have a solution. World Cup teams are representing their' nation. This should be a situation where players are amateurs. NO PAY… PERIOD!!!     Those boys put a beat down on those whiny ass women 5 to 2
    My nephew told me……."Right away we all noticed we were much faster stronger and bigger.
    My nephew at the time was 14 …. 5' 8 …145 pounds in the 8th grade…..He was the smallest on the team.
    They all noticed how these women had trouble with stamina.
    
    One thing he said was how they were acting after they lost, very poor sportsmanship, most of the girls refused to shake hands.

That being said, following the last World Cup when this issue came up, it was proven the women are actually paid a higher percentage of the overall purse than the men. 38. Its not a skill gap that is responsible even though that exists. It has to do with supply and demand. Womens sports are way less in demand and therefore generate less money than men's sports, which means less wages. It is basic free market economy.

Dont quote me but I think it was around 16-20 % for the women and 6-7% for the men. Yes 6% of 6 billion is more than say 20% of 700 million. Womens football is just not getting the revenue yet!
