If the US had beat Spain and played well in the tournament then i might of believed they deserved to win but they didnt. That game against Spain was luck the only other team they beat was Egypt. Thats not a good tournament on their part.

  20. I saw the game. The US had an excellent passing rate, Spain played very well also, they had and missed chances and their own weaknesses were exploited perfectly. When the US wins, stupid, ignorant people say 'It was luck, it was the B team…' and when they lose they say 'US soccer sucks.' They/you need to educate yourselves. The US has defeated in the past 4 years, Spain, Italy, and Germany. Spain's winning streak was broken with all of their best players on the field, how is that unprepared?

  21. The only reason Spain lost against the US in the semi final is because they werent expecting anything from the US team.
    The fact that Spain was unbeaten for so long backs up that fact even more, nobody would of ever bet a single dollar that the US was going to win that match, it was a flukey victory that was won by luck, not skill. Spain was way better players and a way better team.

Spain was on a 60+ game unbeaten streak, the fact that the US stopped that against the #1 ranked team in the world that had brought its full squad and would later go on to win the world cup is nothing short of amazing. Considering the fact that the US is consistently ranked in or around 28th place and was able to do that as well as have a 2-0 lead over Brazil at any point in time really cancels out any detractive shit bitches like you try to conjure up.
