7. All the pressure is on the Dutch. They were expected to go far before the cup even began, and although they won their group- they’ve been extremely underwhelming performance wise thus far. They haven’t looked like the high caliber team they’re expected

9. I’m Dutch and I find it hard to say what the chances of both teams are. We are not playing good football, but we win. We play very defensive, but are very effective with are chances. People also underestimate Senegal and equador, both are very strong teams and there wasn’t a moment we’re we thought that we would not go through to the next round. US has a very young, but very motivated squad. Everything can happen on Saturday.

11. I think we might (stress might, but still unlikely) be watching a young US side grow up. They were undefeated and played better competition than the Netherlands in the round robin. Also, they are very active so they should be able to keep up. Although they don't have the technical ability, they can focus and make up the energy. 24. If the US can score more efficiently in this match, then our chances to advance will be good. Holland will have their chances too, and probably more than us, but it wouldn't surprise anyone if Matt Turner makes some big saves in those moments. Most people who follow both teams and all the players seem to think the match will be a good one. If it's over in the 90, I think the Netherlands will win. Beyond that, America's youth and Turner's saves will put us in a good spot to potentially make it through. Best of luck to the Netherlands – it's one of my favorite countries to visit and the fans there are fantastic.

31. I think if the US gets another player to step up and match Christian Pulisic's drive to score we can easily do this. We've had a lot of scoring opportunities. Our defense is stellar right now, so as long as they act like they've been there before, calm the nerves(or harness them), and keep their heads down when they shoot, I think we got an awesome opportunity to beat these guys! We tied England. That's nothing to take lightly.

32. There is only one striker of any concern on the Netherlands… We can shut them down if we don't make a careless error like against Wales. Our youthful vigor could carry us longer than the older Dutch squad.

He thought if he brought in Foden or rash to early we’d completely expose him. So don’t all of a sudden make this average to good Dutch side look like they are equal footing with England. And if the USA play like they did for 4 of their 6 halves the Dutch are gong down 2-1.

35. I don’t see the Dutch losing the game, the US attack has been underwhelming and they will be up against Virgil van Dijk. However, sometimes opposing styles make games more than players. Netherlands 2 – USA 0.

36. Netherlands drew with Ecuador. Technically, the US can beat or draw. But the problem is commitment of the players. The US players do not commiit. Skill wise, they are pretty good. I feel they do not have leadership. With Pulicic on the field, they rally. Pulicic slows down, the team slows down.
