  1. No comparison. World Cup Final (fairer to use a single event than the whole tournament) clearly bigger. Only America really cares about the Super Bowl whereas the World Cup, everyone across the globe cares. And of course, football is a true global game and American Football is really only America.

  2. It doesn't matter what's bigger, it's always quality over quantity. Americans are always like, "Oh yeah the super bowl is so much better than the world cup because of the snacks and the cool halftime shows and the ads". But really these guys need to think twice because the world cup has got more quality.

  3. The Super Bowl is just a lame hyper capitalist show filled with ridiculous propaganda and overrated by tons of marketing with a little sporting along. The sports part is fine, but obviously it's all focused in the pathetic show, the cameras, the attention and, derived of all that, generating profit as crazy.

The World Cup, instead – and despite all the artificial economic muscle backing the Super Bowl up – is several orders of magnitude bigger thanks to its sports-related merits and very strong worldwide cultural background. Of course the economic despiteful part is there, but it isn't all about it. It's a true World Series sporting event.

  4. I read the video title and laughed so hard, are you serious? The super bowl can't even compare to Champions League final . so it can't be compared to the world cup final, never. When will Americans understand American football only Americans care and football/Soccer the whole world cares?

  5. Bro super Bowl viewership can't be even compared to IPL which only last 1.5 month and you are comparing it to football World cup where it can't be even compared to basketball world cup

  6. the REAL football is far superior than a sport where 22 man wearing helmets and tight pants laying on each other wondering if it's a touchdown or not

  7. I mean duh, the WHOLE world plays the World Cup. Vast majority of humans only have time to 1 hour of games – during their breaks, lunch, whatever it is. By sitting and watching the game for 2 hours is a lot of effort, you must really love Soccer and to watch 6 hours – 3 games a day is you are a fanatic. The US audience, watches their teams every weekend for 4 hours, but during those 4 hours they are cooking, chatting, washing clothes, moving around the house and once in a while sit to watch the game of the propaganda. 3 hours of commercials, 30 minutes chit-chat and 10 minutes in total of the actual game (American Football) strange sport.
