  1. Usa draw brazil?? Very funny. Only way that might happen is if brazil doesn't care about the match. Otherwise usa will lose to brazil. C'mon guys, usa got the easiest group in world cup. England doesn't count cause they get into this psychologically negative/weak mindset when playing vs usa due to history (usa defeated the then world power england in the revolutionary war). Canada didn't lose any war to usa so this doesn't apply to them which is why they beat usa in qualifiers. Yes that defeat still impacts the game today in favor of usa. This applies to all countries that went into some major defining war/conflict (the winners of the war/conflict always have that psychological advantage in-game especially if the winning nations are presently economically superior as well). The same is true in the Iran vs usa match as us-iran relations are awful.

  2. I like the host country system. Ecuador is a beautiful country, with a recent history in South American football that's bigger than people outside the continent might recognize – mostly embodied in the success of LDU in the Copa Libertadores. I don't know much about Peru but it has a good reputation among travelers.

  3. As chilean I do not agree that the Copa América to be played outside the zone.

The passion for soccer is what keeps our countries alive, even if we have to play it in a pasture.

It's nothing against the USA, surely they can provide good courts, a and good profits, while keeping the spirit of those who live there and feel like they are from here, but each cup inspires our people and new generations to continue. For us being the host is a pleasure and a blessing.

If what you want is money, then put the cup at an auction for countries like Qatar, the Emirates or China to win, while we watch it on television.

When soccer is thought of as if it were a product or not a passion, it will no longer inspire new generations or ourselves.

  4. Even though you can say some South American countries have been underperforming these past years, when it comes to Copa America they do not play. CONCACAF would get humbled pretty quick. Also, the statement on crowd support is funny because even if the the Copa is in the U.S, outside of like fucking Ohio where they loveee to fucking play, support would be way more 50/50. Especially, if you play a Peru, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia you would probably be the minority.

  5. As an Englishman I’ll say this. My prediction is the USA will reach the semis for the 2026 edition. Winning it is a tall order, but I think you might have a good run with home support. I see Brazil coming back stronger, and England will definitely be in the mix.

  6. I been reading some article of world cup and heard folks said that tyler adams is man of the match in world cup. By 2026, tyler adam is gona dominate world cups and we know he still training for more greatness

  7. So if Tyler Adams was told this information about the Copa America where did he get it from, the coach GGG?
Does that mean that GGG is staying on?
    🙏 I hope not.

  8. No one was surprised given how much money CONMEBOL could use these days.

Everyone has known that this was a 99% done deal.

    8 v 8 teams? Is Charlie high?

    10 CONMEBOL teams + USA/Canada/México + 3 other CONCACAF teams.

  9. Guys I have it on very good authority for about a week now that Canada, USA and Mexico will be in the Copa America along with 3 others. What is holding back the announcement is whether it will be staged in the USA or not.

  10. Canada, USA and Mexico must raise their games for 2026. I expect to see 2 of them in the QFs. Kicking some ass in the Copa America would be the perfect set up.
