  1. “Soccer” is also a particularly difficult sport cause of its INSANE level of actual skill, touch, technique and flair…in American football and basketball for example those elements aren’t even close to the same level

  2. I watch both American and European football. I usually try to get my American friends to watch but they just can’t get past all the crying. Crying isn’t seen as a cool thing to do in American culture, but in European football culture it’s very very very popular. It’s The one thing that is terrible about what would be an otherwise amazing flawless sport. During the World Cup final my friends were irate with all the crying so they decided to have some fun with it. They started placing bets on how many times the players would roll around on the ground and cry. The highest number was 16. But it ended up being 17 times with 10 minutes left in the game. 17 times a player rolled around on the ground crying and all of them got back up and continued to play. That never happens in American sports. If an athletes cries it’s because of a career threatening injury. Search for the Paul George injury. You will literally see his leg snap in half and he cries wayyyyyy less than soccer players do every game. They need to make an American version of the sport. Every player would be allowed to roll around on the ground and cry one time per game. The second time is a yellow and the third time is a red. If they made these rules it would become the number 1 sport in the USA within a decade.

  3. Yeah I tried once watching a Broncos games and I didn't understand why there was a commercial every 5 minutes I think I wasn't enough high to enjoy it like my boss did.

  4. In soccer, the players are on their own for 45 mins + extra time. Yeah, the coach may shout some crypted tactical stuff from the sideline, but there is no ‘T’ in soccer. And they run like crazy.
Also, a point scored in soccer is usually very valuable. Fans lose it each time.. Can’t say the same for eg basketball..

  5. There are so many damn breaks in American sports, it's maddening. You break for nose picking and ass scratching. Real football ⚽ is the one true religion.

  6. I play all kinds of sports. MMA or combat sport is up there with the physical aspect it demands but football is unparallel. It is so tiring sport. You have to be wise and calculating enough to NOT sprint all the time because you have one hour and a half of sport to play.

  7. No commercial break during the game except half time , it's great. But someone will score every time you go to the kitchen or bathroom if you get invested in a game , guaranteed
