Appreciate your content and have learned much from your channel.
I like Flo his game, but his game resembles more to Pulisic than a tradicional 9. He is only 5'10 and 150 lbs. His game is more tailored as a SS. He has always played in a 2-forward formation.
I don’t think he’s good enough for arsenal rn and I don’t know if I want him staying
Let's Fking Goooo!!!
And just like that usa has the best forward in the concacaf
Cant wait for 2024 Copa America. That will be the first real test for this player with this team. And will be a great warmup for 2026.
I can’t wait to see the McKinney to Balogun connection!
It's not that he believes the US can win its about playing time he know he would automatically have the ST position and playing time so he went to the country that will actually play him with no competition 😂
Yes you got him only because he realize he can’t get into the England set up
can’t even pronounce premier league right USMNT is a joke Bru, nothing but foreigners no real Americans
It makes sense. His choice was be a fringe back up striker for England or leading the line for the USA during a World Cup in the USA.
The manager is gonna be a HUGE hire. We'll need a system that works WITHOUT Flo (if he's injured/not in form). We need a CREATIVE manager. If it's Marsh…we're screwed. He's not that guy.
My horses are more American than Balogun
Great, let’s get a world class coach next.
Hey Jake – lot of banter on the UCL broadcasts about Henry taking the US job, but what would you think about his mate Patrick Vieira? Should the usmnt aim higher? Is it feasible to aim any higher?
So excited to hear the Eagle has finally landed. 🦅
Can’t wait to get my Balogun #9 kit. Just need to wait for a new kit to be released, because there’s no way I’m buying another one of those hideous abominations we wore at the WC.
Drop that trash line at the jump of course
Arsenal will never give him a chance. Needs to get to an EPL club that twill allow him to start and thrive. But this is great great news. He is wha the US needs….and can be that for a long time!
Fugk Europe. This guy should play in MLS.
Now we need a coach.
Great content man, first video I've seen and really enjoyed! keep up the good work brotha
I wouldn’t refer to Balogun as trash… he’s lighting it up.
Huuuugggeee
We're going to score goals in the final third actually? Oh snap. Pulisic and Reyna are gonna have someone to feed them finally so they can eat. Now give me an EU coach and we're good.
OFF-TOPIC ALERT: This is way off-topic (and I might be the only person on earth thinking about it) but I'm curious, Jake, what's your perspective on the coaching career of Jason Kreis? How did the guy go from a top-tier, trophy-winning coach of RSL, to Man City coach-in-training (I think he spent an entire year in Manchester learning "the City way" ahead of the NYCFC expansion season), to failure after failure from NYCFC, to Orlando City, to the US Soccer youth ranks? It seems like his ability to win matches as a manager got worse and worse with every stop in his career. From a coach's perspective, what was going on there?
I’m no GGG fan but make no mistake, he played a part in recruiting Flo. This decision has been made for a while now. Of course credit to Hudson and the social media usmnt fan community as well. Mainly though, I think it’s our young players like Musah, Pulisic, Weah, Adams and McKennie that really pulled this off. Musah probably had the most influence and we really need to show appreciation to Gregg for that.
LOL! "Get wrecked, Gareth Southgate!"
I'm so happy for him Dear Jake He had chosen Our Team USA.🥰😍🤗❤🤍💙💪👍🙏
Yeah buddy…look forward to seeing him play against mexico nations cup
Jose Mourinho for USA Men's National team manager!!!!!
I'd rather see Balogun get sold by Arsenal to a team where he will get lots of minutes. I don't think he would play much for Arsenal. That's not ideal for our World Cup 2026 hopes.
It is and always will be called football, England will still always stomp you lot
Happy you guys got him, hes a good youngster, i understand why you guys are excited, but although hes a good youngster, hes not the second coming of Thierry Henry, so far hes had one good season in France (easily the weakest of the big 5 leagues) he wasnt anywhere near the England senior squad hes still behind Kane, Rashford, Toney, etc, and behind Osimhen for Nigeria, i think it was always a choice, be a depth piece at best for England or Nigeria, or potentially be a star for the US, i do hope he becomes all he can for you guys, i think Arsenal may sell him this summer if the right bid comes in, lets be honest hes still behind Jesus and Nketiah for Arsenal right now, i think he deserves better than being a 3rd choice at Arsenal, i can see him going to the Bundesliga if someone will pay £25m-£30m and if theyll let him start
Cant wait to see him in a US kit. We need a manager who can maximize Balogun in our play.
2026 is looking very optimistic right. After this home advantage and insane young talent that will be coming up at that time with this commit I might happen 🏆
Nice breakdown. This is such great news!
My favorite part of this is his age. He’s only 21 and age eligible for the Olympics, I believe. This is amazing for us!
The evolution of USMNT continues (in a good way)!
You're very handsome. 😊
