  1. Bro! I want to thank you for making your honest suggestions and opinions with our #9 and omitted Jesus and really broke down how Haji is not really our guy. I will be subscribing and would love to chat more with you on this.

  2. 4-3-3 was an admission of trust it is not a offensive attack. It relys on wingers creating space and delivering. It will not work with Flo. He is not as good as sargent, pepi or Dike in the air. You need to have a CAM, he has that at Reines. This 4-3-3 needs to be swapped for a 4-3-3 with a cam so take out out musah and input Reyna, or BA, or someone else. I prefer reyna cuz he can go succeed on 1 on 1 dribbles which plays to Baloguns strength of testing the line. his shooting is in the 96th percentile per smartscout against UCL level players. He can win, but still needs service. You will see a direct shift going forward because of this. I think a 4-2-3-1 could be likely where we see wingers pull in and become play makers with him this maintains the option of a attacking 4-3-3 but control of a MMA type of mid field, it allows for speed in transition with the three channels enabled to make line breaking passes.

  3. I still can’t believe it. I have to see him on game day enter the field. Many of us pray for days like this and it seem like it won’t happen but it this.

  4. The addition of Balogun to our CF pool definitely raises the floor. Balogun (21), Sargent (23), and Pepi (20) give us a trio of CF's where there will be continuous competition at the CF spot and should insure that inclusion is based on merit and not gifted (Ferreira). Balogun also gives the US a serious threat that teams will have to account for. That should create some more space for Pulisic or Weah who were often double teamed by opponents.
I never really cared for the 4-3-3 with our player pool because I felt it left too much space between to front 3 and the midfield….forcing the MMA to expend too much energy. I still believe that as good as the MMA is (and will be) the team would be better served in a 4-2-3-1 with Musah & McKennie could be used in a rotation and have a more creative CM (Reyna) to help connect the midfield to the frontline. It would also provide more protection to what is likely to be the weakness of this team going forward…the CB position.
With Balogun & Zendejas coupled with the emergence of Booth, P. Aaronson, & Paredes should hopefully push the MLS retreads of Roldan, Arriola, & Morris out of the "A-Team" once and for all. We still need a backup to Jedi & Adams…..and we need to strengthen our CBs….but otherwise there isn't many weaknesses among our players. And if we get a capable coach there shouldn't be any excuses.

  5. Him and Pepi are going to make this team so aggressive in the front. He's the AUTOMATIC starter in that spot. Less pressure on Pulisic and others to score too. Great pick up. Great recruiting

  6. Yo! The Americans are so desperate trying to recruit non Americans to represent US it's pathetic. Just because he was born there doesn't mean anything. He grow up in England and his family and friends lives in the Uk. He has no business in the USMNT. Same with Dest, Musah and pefok. and I found it pretty funny how these players are probably the best players in the USA squad are non Americans of course. Haha

  7. Half a billion people and you're still depending on people "committing" to your national team just so you can fail to qualify for the World Cup out of Cacacaf like you did in 2018 which is still so hilarious every time I think about it 😂😂😂😂

  8. (In general) to make the final 8 of a world cup a team needs at least the following makeup of players. 2 who are starters on S tier teams. 7 (or 6) starters on A tier teams. 2 (or 3) starts on B tier teams. No starters on C or D tier teams. (Note – all MLS teams are at most a C tier team – and that is being generous.)

Balogun is on at best an A tier team. So, he raises the number of A tier players. However, the US’s one potential S team starter (Pulisic) is likely to move to an A team. The US needs at least 2 players to step up (and transfer) to S tier teams and be starters on those teams within the next 2 years.

  9. I’d like to see a 433 attacking formation with Reyna at the 10 and Aaronson or weah on rw with flo at striker and pulisic at lw. Especially against the weaker teams we play in Concaaf

  10. Great video! I’m so hyped for the Balogun move because he makes our starting XI better. I still think Pepi and Sargent round out a really solid top 3 strikers for us who have different attributes and can score goals. I’m interested to see him in Concacaf because we’ve needed a finisher for a while, especially against low block teams who look to frustrate us

  11. As wm Englishman im happy for you guys, but remember Flo is far from a guaranteed thing (so far hes had one good year in France, the weakest of the big 5 leagues) right now hes just a good young player and still needs to develop, his choice was quite easy, be a career depth option at best for England or Nigeria or be a potential star for the US, you guys have needed a specialist striker for years, and i hope Flo becomes all he can be for you guys, the US has kind of become my 2nd team (i got roped in by a few American friends, im rooting for you guys, well, unless you play England 😂)i think he'll leave Arsenal in the summer (nothing concrete, just my opinion) if someone bids £25m-£30m, i can see Arsenal cashing in

  12. I agree with you that we're not more than a round of 16 team still, maybe quarterfinal team.We definitely need to raise the technical floor of all our players but we have a bright future and I'm excited to see where we go from here. We just need to hire the right coach and soon.
