  19. My five year old grand son told me that he's not the fastest runner anymore. A girl runs faster than him. He said she's really fast and he can't beat her. So we will take the girl and separate her BEFORE she can peak her skills and put her in an inferior team where she will be great but she will not accelerate as high and as fast as she would competing with the boys.

  20. Girls need to continue to play on boys teams throughout their playing lives. You cannot have a girl switched to a lower level of competition and expect her to continue to compete with the best. So quit separating girls and boys. Rather keep them together and you will see a number of females competing with the boys. Their capabilities take a dive after they are removed from competing with the best, the boys. Girls will never equal boys if you separate them to an inferior level of play.

    Wrexham isnt a top flight team, its not even 2nd tier infact it only just tgis season qualified to get back into the English football league 2, which is the 4th tier of football at domestic level.
    Wrexham are as close to an amateur team without being an amateur team its possible to get. We aren't talking about a team with Mbappe, Naymar, Harland playing on it.

  40. The US women's soccer team is universally disliked on the world circuit because of their bad sportmanship, arrogance and loudmouthed disrespect they give other teams, and everybody cheers when they lose.
    If you slow-mo the men's passes, and shots for goal, you can see their facial expressions as being totally relaxed, having fun – this was a training outing for them.
    If they (the men) played their full serious game, the score would have been a total blowout.

  42. I went to a small liberal arts college in the Portland area in the late 90's. At the time the Portland Power women's professional basketball team was in the city. This was in the ABL team, which was essentially on par & competing with a fledgling WNBA at the time. The Power were one of the better teams in the league and held a scrimmage with our men's team which was an NAIA team at the time, albeit a decent one. I don't recall at what point in the season it was for either side, but our small college men's team ended up beating the professional women's team like 120-something to 50 or 60-something. People were upset by this and seemed to be taken aback, but I'm not sure why as it simply illustrated the disparity in size, strength, and speed between men and women. Sports that don't have a piece of equipment that reduces that significant disparity (like a racket or club) are just going to end up with results like this and we shouldn't be surprised.

  48. I live in the community Meg competed in as a high school athelete. Lived here for over 60 years. Its a mostly conservative community. I also competed in two college level sports. In all my time here, i have never heard much if anything that resembled the praise that is awarded to those who succeed from a smaller community. Maybe its because of her views on things you mention. Conversely, Ricky Ray, 4 time winner (QB) of the Grey Cup – CFL in Canada, is a completly different story….
