  1. Great win but I'm sorry those stats seem a bit wrong. Ur telling me the US only completed 178 passes? And the possession went from 60% in the first half (USA) to 64% for Canada total… The US dominated the full 90 mins and that should show in the stats. Where does ESPN get these numbers?!

  2. I've been very harsh with my criticisms lately when it comes to the structure and goal of USMNT..But I've to say, this game made me feel so proud. The way players are starting to understand their role and the coordination is amazing. I'm very impressed I must say and as usual it always feels good to defeat Canada and put up a statement.
    Bravo 👍🏼

  3. Balogun and Pepi are promising. Pulisic, Reyna and Weah have been wonderful lately. McKinnie, Adams, Musah and Aaronson have so much potential between them. Robinson and Dest look steady. Turner isn't Howard or Keller, but he'll do. I really, really like this team. If things go well, there's no reason we couldn't make the QF in '26.

  4. Hey this is ESPN FC…less of this intense tactical discussion and taking yourself seriously and get back to the full crew bantering on holidays, shepherds pie and Don's internet!

  5. He obviously knows about the financial situation that Barcelona are currently in, had Barcelona had enough money they would be keeping all three to use the experience they would have helped the youngsters

  6. Berhalter is a soy boy – emotional beta male – he cannot be our coach. What kind of grown man starts a war with 20 year old kid…..its because hes insecure af. Berhalter is a joke.

  7. Why does no one talk about why Gio is putting in two performances of the quality he produced now? Was he supposedly a completely different player 7 months ago? And we are bringing back the guy who gave us the Gio of the WC versus the Gio of Dortmund's 2nd half of the season and Nation's league games. Crazy!

  8. What an era for US soccer fans this could potentially be. Gio Reyna is 20 and absolutely world class already. pullisic is the US’s brightest, seasoned star( although he’s still very young) . Turner is a very trustworthy goalie. Musah and Weston on a good day are absolutely world class and Swiss Army knives on the pitch (they can provide the defensive support of a defensive midfielder while being able to provide support on the offense as well).I also think Dest and Robinson are insanely overlooked as fullbacks. Then you have Messi coming to Miami, the US hosting the copa America in 2024 and finally the World Cup in 2026 . My lifelong dream of seeing soccer become mainstream in the US and seeing the USMNT as a very good team capable of accomplishing big things is happening before us.

  9. BJ Callaghan was perfect. He set them up to counter Davies and made a smart change to 5 at the back at the end. He also continued Hudson’s idea of letting the players play freely and having gio as a 10. No more Berhalter ball was great. Berhalters over complicated system of just having the full back crossing sucks. Gregg better not go back to that

  10. awesome that we won, but don't forget who we beat. Mexico is imploding and Canada,Panama are not top flight teams. At least the team is moving forward in a very positive way.

  11. Aside from defending the trophy by the Yankees, the rise of Canadian football and potential growth of Jamaican team ( lots of talent Jamaican-English) would mean one thing: a strong competitive pool. Despite the loss, I was impressed with the Canadian approach and athleticism. They have grown as a team, US had to win the ugly way and that’s part of football ( oh Greg is coming with his rubbish tactics).Thank you from the Alps.

  12. Great performance, I actually hope Berhalter will follow what. It’s interim coaches did and have flexibility, simplify the instructions, and let the most talented players have some freedom to play. Also… call up the best players available. Not just the “yes men” for eyes and vibes.
