Even Mexico’s win over Honduras wasn’t much of an indicator of improvement, there’s a big disparity amongst the level of competition in this tournament. But regardless of the opponent they did their thing on the pitch and took care of business as they should.

13. Everything Alexis said was silly. You cannot judge anyone’s performance against St Kitts and say they had a good game. This was the type of game where you decide which players won’t cut the mustard, not which players will. They did what was expected. We have such a mediocre mindset. We strive for good enough.

18. Did anyone think Zendejas was good? I thought he was panicky, and rushed everything. Made terrible decisions overall and had this not been SKAN, he would have been benched at half time. The 2nd half was just as bad as the first half was for him. He should have scored at least 3 for the amount of shots he took. He wasted many opportunities.

20. They were expected to win and to win big and they did, not the US fault they were facing a weak team. I enjoyed the game and the score line, great to see the team trying to do things they wouldn’t try to do against stronger opposition, this was the game to do that to see what works and what doesn’t. Great performance anyway and onto the next game 👍
