  1. So with Adams coming back 2 🇺🇸 ⚽️ who goes 2 the bench? Gio or Musah? I think Gio coming off the bench can make an impact & Musah is better starting what y'all think?

  2. We learned that we are better off without berhalter, these boys have been held down by his tactics and being free of them now shows how good they really are… and man are they good!

  3. Mexican national team fan here, I really appreciate your takes, keep up the good work! This was the most dominant performance by a USMNT squad. Pulisic really stepping up when he has that US jersey on, its exciting to see his passion. The Mexican federation needs to restructure & value the game over the dollars, which is hard to actually see happening.

  4. Jordan and Jesus F. should have been replaced in their entirety by Pepe for the last WC. This is the main problem with Berhalter. He tows the MLS line for promotion of their players at the peril of our national team.

  5. Idk about this video… I believe just about every country has good players it's about the coach picking them and getting the right combination. Right now Mexico has had terrible coaches. Sure you have good players but if they don't match well with another player and or if it's a bad player then you'll have a bad team. Ive had bosses pick bad employees and it makes the team struggle. So this is totally a coach issue. USA has picked a good team match that is superior than Mexico's team which could change.

  6. All though usmnt on a high ALL TIME HIGH….ALL TIME RECORD still proves it hasn’t over took Mexico domestically and internationally. Not discrediting. anything….through all these years usmnt is still playing catch up to Mexico. But they are
Coming up FAST and Mexico can’t keep up right now. Mexico need to CLEAN HOUSE Fkn fast.

  7. I’ve said this on Twitter several times, so you might have seen it: I “learned” that we don’t need Gregg Berhalter to win these high-profile CONCACAF matches that USSF swears he helps us win. In fact, this was probably the most comfortable win I’ve seen from the US in a high-steaks CONCACAF game since 2018 at least. If we had Berhalter there, we would’ve still won, but the game would’ve been closer. Because his tactics aren’t what win our games. Our player pool’s talent is. They win IN SPITE of Gregg Berhalter.

  8. Mexico sucked ass. Their new coach is just a yes man for the FMF. Tata did NOTHING for the youth and thus the new youth have YET to be incorporated into the team and the disaster at the WC brought almost NO changes to the Mexican system nor did it do anything for immediate changed. USA is definitely gonna dominate for the next 10 years. That being said Berhalter will seriously hold y'all back. Y'all might dominate the region but Berhalter is tactically incompetent

  9. Mexico is a real disappointment. The US needs to play some decent competition if they are to be ready for the 2026 World Cup. Also, performances like this in the region will only serve to mask what an inadequate coach Berhalter is. We would be better off getting our behinds handed to us so that we get serious about bringing in a competent coach on the world stage.

  10. Berhalter out! Matt Crocker out! Dan Flynn Out! I am no longer a usmnt supporter. I am officially only a liverpool supporter. I will no longer support the usa team. The federation is a disgrace in a bubble of nepotism and corruption. The boaard behind all the public people need to step down as well. I am out.

  11. What did we learn? We learned this young team is going to continue to use Mexico as it’s measuring stick against the worlds best nations. Problem is Mexico is bad and getting worse. So it just more delusion coming from these young US players. They even picked their coach, it’s just clear they think their at the top and want to stay on their comfort zone. Prove me wrong in the copa America but I don’t see it yet. Balogun could open things up for them, but will Gregg even play him?

  12. A little unfair on the shots at the guys coming off the bench not being at the level. It's hard for anyone to come off the bench and get into the game.

  13. Regarding Berhalter, a coach can't win a game, but he can lose one. Berhalter's biggest weakness, in my opinion, was player selection closely followed by a rigid adherence to system and positional profiles. Hopefully, he's learned from Hudson and BJ that the best way forward is to call the most talented players, put the best XI on the field, and get out of the way — that is to say, have a basic gameplan, but don't try to overcomplicate/over-coach/micromanage things to the nth degree. The player pool is maturing. Give them more freedom on the pitch. Honestly, I think if he can do that, or heck, just fix his roster and lineup selection problems, a large portion of the fanbase will get off of his back.

  14. Things we learned:

    1. Pulisic, Reyna, Weah, AND a striker all need to be on the field at the same time. We are so much more dynamic as a team with McKennie and Reyna both attacking from the midfield IN ADDITION to the front 3.

    2. Mexico is in trouble, and sorry Mexico fans — it's not the coach. I've never seen a Mexican team this devoid of talent. They are really lucky that they don't have to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.

    3. We have to, as a sports culture, stop mistaking machismo for toughness. We glorify the kind of immature and trashy behavior that got us 2 red cards, and now we'll be down two really important players against Canada, who will be a MUCH tougher opponent than Mexico was.

  15. Listen to me I didn’t want Greg back but his system may work.We were in the top ten in cross without goals in the World Cup with Balagon there to finish it may work

  16. Not much respect for Canada who were simply better than the USMNT both games of the WC qualifying. Doesn't your critique of Canada being an MLS team with a few stars contradict your point that sides play better when everyone plays at the same level? Maybe it was Herdman outcoaching GB? It does seem that when the team plays well, it is the players and when they are outplayed, it was the coach. That happens with pretty much every team in every sport.

  17. Hopefully seeing how well the team did mesh with what BJ put out on the field maybe GB will get the hint that his style is broke. But, doubtful but one can hope.
