   If you’re bold enough to not bring in the A squad then use your U23-U20 team to develop them. Stop bringing in players who have reached their ceiling and you know they will never get any higher. Stop wasting our time with players that you know won’t make it.

18. The U.S qualified in the last world cup by point differential. They didn't blow out the door and make a statement, and that was the supposedly A Team. Even before they played in the group stage, they were talking about which teams they would like to lose, win or tie with to advance. That's not the right mentality for this sport if they want to hoist the trophy. If their mentality isn't "I'll see you in the final," they won't make it past the group stage next time. Even if they have that mentality, can they make it to the end even with these new promissing strikers like Balogun, Vasquez, etc? We'll see.
