  1. There is a high chance the tone deaf U.S. Soccer Federation might hire him back. LOL. The warning signs were there 2 years ago that the wheels were going to come off in the World Cup. Plenty of very capable coaches were out there. US Fed. are fools that can't get of their own way.

Choosing Megan R. for the team was a reach, she looked lost and made error after error. She had no business playing in the last game. Ertz had to yell at her to wake up when she blew a corner kick into the side netting. Her missed penalty was a given. Her laughing at that, just shows you she should have never been on the pitch.

The World is more competitive. The Australia – England game was excellent this morning. We have a lot of young talent, who knows how far we could have gone with a good coach. Hold you breath who knows if these clowns at our federation can pick a decent coach.

  2. England fan here – I thought the USA still showed enough in this game to go through, but you sense there’s something not right within this squad. The USA have long been a powerhouse in women’s football and I expect they will be again quite soon, but for this team that cutting edge was missing.
Watching this game as a neutral, I found Rapinoe’s performance and also her reaction to her penalty miss a bit bizarre. I might be doing her a big disservice, but I just sensed her performance on the pitch not matching her ego. She’s been a top player for the USA, but i think this tournament might have been one too many for her. Anyway no doubt the USA will come back stronger than ever next time round.

  3. The US women were the best women's team of all time, and I know the perfect coach to get them to the next level, but I will be keeping my mouth shut, since women hate "mansplaining."

  4. Obviously Vlatko has to go ASAP, but the person or committee responsible for hiring AND retaining him for this long (He should have been canned after the olympics) also needs to get the boot. Watching Vlatko's sheer incompetence for this long and allowing it is unacceptable.

  5. You can tell it started the top and worked its toxic all the way down. When Carli Lloyd gave them a wakeup call, they could've taken that as a tool to build upon. Instead, they used it as a victim tool and shot back in her direction. Dodging all the accountability and Andonovski continuously stating that Rapinoe was a smart choice to add to the squad this year was the public's view of all that went wrong. There's a lot more that happened behind the scenes that we'll never know about, but none of it was good decision-making. None of it was for the good of the team. They were too busy focused on making political statements than to having a winning mindset.

A squad of individual talent isn't good enough in this sport.

  6. I still don't understand how we send players that hate America? They don't deserve to be there imo. Now that they lost they can return to their wokeness.

  7. He needs to be fired…why do they not have a US coach? He was born in Yugoslavia for petes sake. You are telling me we have zero coaches in the US who could do this job??????

  8. Yes, for calling Rapinoe and then she divided the team. Carli know how it was when Rapinoe started on the team. Rapinoe should never been there and the team would be playing their best.

  9. Sweden 🇸🇪 served the arrogant and virtue signaling Muricans some humble pie 🥧😂

We hold no grudges against your people, but we do believe justice was served and hopefully a lesson in humility was learnt…

  10. This whole tournament was a game of millimetres. In the group stage the US was lucky to advance from the group. You can't be lucky forever.

  11. I can't blame Vlatko, imagine having to coach this unpatriotic, selfish and entitled squad with no will-power or pride. Sickening. They are playing PC, not football.

  12. When you're not playing to proudly represent the USA, you're rotten from the core, your soul has no grounding, no national pride in your heart, your feet become clumsy stumps, you're doomed to have wobbly kicks. I'm glad they are out. It would be such an embarrassment if they kneel during the national anthem if they won the cup, or 2nd, or 3rd.

  13. Replace the coach AND the players focused on their brand instead of the team. Its clear from watching them play which players are hungry and which ones are influencers. The USWNT has been playing poorly since that embarrassing European tour in 22. He’s had plenty of time to address the issues. I think the first couple of years he was benefiting from the program Ellis established. Now it’s clear he isn’t up to the task. Rapinoe and Morgan have aged out, Rodman isn’t up to the international game, Ertz was in the wrong position, just to name the most blatant bad decisions.

  14. Vladko has nothing to do with this exit. This team got ruined because of all the politics that Megan Rapinoe brought about. There is no way you can influence a whole team to disrespect their country and expect to win a championship. I can see this and I’m not even American.

  15. How many Americans were actually hoping they would lose??? You have to ask that question. They'll be remembered (or just forgotten?) as divisive and insufferable by many.

  16. Woulda shoulda coulda, at the end of the day the Emerican side had many chances to score but the swedish team had a better game plan they didnt really attack they put deffence first and if it were not for the outstanding keeping from the swedish keepers amazing efforts the Emericans more than likely make it through to the quarters. Theres always the next world cup.

  17. Taking off Alex Morgan when it was increasingly showing a penalty shoot out, well that worked! had no idea how to get the best out of Morgan and better teams and coaches adapted their play to work around injured players as England have. USA not so the longer the game went and the superb Swedish keeper there was really only going to be one outcome and there was.

  18. Sweden won the match, so Sweden was the better team & played better football.

Remember that Defence Play, Goalkeeping & Kicking Penalties is a part of football. And is just as important as Attacking Field Play.

  19. The days of U.S dominance of womens WC football is now over, fifa and other countries have invested a lot of money in womens football, and have caught up with the U.S. There are a lot of good players and teams than ever before, out of the 50 worlds best players, the U.S only has 5 players, this is the new reality.

  20. Rest of the World caught up, with Blockbuster European Clubs involved investing and a Champions League in full throttle it was just a matter of time , well , that Time just arrived, The Queens are Dead, Long Live The Queens…😊

  21. The coach’s lip service to play time and performance in league play was without substance. Some players did not deserve to make the squad when there are better options.

  22. Can’t believe these fools were ranked No. 1 team in the world with only 4 goals in 4 games, with those 3 scored against Vietnam.
