I’m at least glad that this will be not just a high stakes final, but a high stakes final where both fans will be on the same page about not throwing water around, throwing projectiles at the players, or yelling slurs and offensive chants. Overall just ruining it for everybody else, I’m glad there won’t be that.

36. John Herdman knows this match means alot when he was the head manager for canadian women team.

37. Davies is so valuable because he's rarer, not because he has a greater ability to change a game on his own. Davies' qualities as a left-footed absolute burner with both defensive and ball-handling capabilities make him a very valuable addition to a very good team. But in a national team setting where you have to choose among a set of players in your pool and not build from all players on an open market there isn't such a premium on what Davies brings. If you're unlucky enough to have a glaring weakness in the midfield or in central defense, you'd trade your world class left back to plug that weakness with a very good player. And when Davies plays on the wing for Canada and Canada faces the US it's the US who has the best winger on the field. Pulisic is valued less than Davies on the market because wingers of Pulisic's qualities are easier to find than left backs of Davies', not because Davies is a better winger than Pulisic.
