  4. Hoping Sweden would win, we watched the entire ladies (using the word loosely) football match and it was an agonising experience that ended 0-0.

    To me it looked like a match between the more skilful USA team against a defending wall of Swedish players and a flying PANTHER as goalkeeper, that… ended in a draw.

    But then came the decisive "shoot-out" that became an absolute embarrassment. I don't think this match is doing anything for the reputation for the "Ladies" trying to imitate men.

    Some "Ladies" could not even hit the bloody goal in front of millions of people! Hello? Then a Swedish girl managed to get the round ball just over the line by obvious accident!

    So, Sweden "won" the match! What a bloody joke. Many ended up hysterically happy anyway, and others was boiling their eyes out. 'C'est la Vie'

    Personally, I think the 0-0 match should have ended exactly as it started off – with a toss of a coin! Or with a fair dingcum Aussie Two-Up! Why not?

  6. USA played a lot better than sweden in this game and the goalkeeper blocked the last penalty kick. I hope Japan wins against sweden, USA didn’t deserve to lose.

  7. Knockout is correct. Auntie Samantha's semi ladies got KNOCKED OUT COLD, in overtime, in the shootout. Or as team NOT U.S.A. calls it, the miss and out.Rat Rapione MISSING what should have been the WINNER! Justice served.

  9. Well, the mighty unpatriotic and no gratitude or respect for this country has lost to Sweden. Good. Couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch of whiners and activists. Boring sport to start with! You see athletes, people watch sports for entertainment and for a short time, get away from political issues. We don't watch you to hear your opinions on political or social matters. For the most part, athletes have been lifted so high onto the pedestal that they believe they are something special and more important than they really are. Just shut up and play the game and stand at attention for your country. If that is to much for you to do, pack all your belongings and get out. Nothing but a bunch of ungrateful and over rated slobs. P.S.: Try giving something back to this country that gives you the opportunity to play games in place of working. You athletes are all take and no give. To the USWNT…goodbye and see ya!   24. Sick and tired of hearing everybody harp on the fact that the US isn’t finishing. Why not Focus on the fact that they’ve only conceded one goal in three games. The goals will come, hopefully in abundance tomorrow. LETS FNNNN GO USA!!!!!
