  1. The Issues w/ the US Team are:

A: Not having an "Exit Alex Morgan Plan" in tandem
w/ RAPINOE Retiring, in place Before and @ the Least after
the 2021 Olympics prior to the 2023 WW Cup, along with:

B: Putting Plan A in Motion immediately prior to the next
Olympic & future Int'l competitions, culminating w/ the
    2027 WW Cup, which means:

C: Barring a rash of injuries and / or reversal of form, Phasing Morgan into
a sub role, and / or off squad by the Olympics or @ best for her,
    before the next WW Cup to focus on Club & Imminent retirement;

And along w inserting the "new talent" the US Management / Clubs
have 2 Adjust / Change their philosophy that the Gap between the
NWSL, the 2nd League, and College Teams is significant over

the European Leagues: That belief has become over-rated
    w/ the improvement & closing of those margins;
    Therefore, the US has to:

D: Execute a "Moving Parts" Plan w/ more players from all 3 entities
to play in Europe which in turn will allow players to gain Int'l
experience, be it as starters or subs, and:

E: Acquire Data on Varying Playing Styles, which helps College Players,
Expands the Scouting Options for the for the National Team w/
Coaches & Talent that are versed in employing & adapting to their

opposition, of which they will have some experience playing with
and against in Club competition, along w/ a campaign to:

F: Put in a bid for NWSL and / or Division 1 clubs, (from 2 to 4 or More)
to play in the Champions League and / or a Club "Super Cup"
    identical to the Men's Version

  2. When the officials let Columbia drag down break away ball carriers for 60 minutes before they will start issuing yellows it is tough to score. Officiating was horrid. With fair officiating that is an 8-0 USA win.

  3. The players themselves are amazing, but the coaching and lineups are awful.
Morgan’s legacy is being ruined at this point. She should be on the sidelines

  4. let me add a comment I made on another site. Why is the USWNT not being represented in the PanAm Games Santiago 2023 in the Football event, by the Senior Team, but by the Junior Team ? Are they scared ?

  5. The USWNT has many problems the one problem that I believe needs to be addressed is the call ups. Under Vlatko this group could never fix or improve on there passing game. Post Vlatko we are still dealing with the same problems. I have to question many of the call ups because they have not performed as a team should. Yes there are many players with great individual talent and I think thats where things went wrong over last 3 years. As good as these young players are the lack the ability to play as a team. Having great individual talent does not mean much especially on team if they can’t play collectively as a team. All that speed is not going to fix the lack of team play and team mentality. Having a midfield with issues as well just compute the problems on the offensive end. Not being able to push the ball forward and connect with the forwards in the scoring third he as been problem existing since Vlatko took over bd still continues now.. address the problems of this team by calling up players that right talent for the offense you want implement and not the best talent available. Vlatko tried that already and look where it got him and the USWNT.

  6. I have been following the USWNT since 1999. It is time to teach our kids the technical fondamentals of Football.. Look at Spain and Japan, they play the most beautiful and interresting football in the world right now.
Just sending the ball forward and relying on athletical strength are no longer enough.

  7. STARTING to have worries about Alex Morgan?!? She's been 30% slower, less effective on the ball, and on finishing for the last three years! What have you guys been watching? The moment Macario goes down with her injury, Hatch needed to be the starting 9, with Alex coming off the bench. Alex has more offsides, and goals called back because of her offsides, than goals itself. I don't know why people continue to think the past is the present. Alex is not 24 anymore. I love Alex. She was amazing to watch in her prime. But it's BEEN time to get the 20 year olds in these starting positions.

  8. Colombians are not that good, they're just running around and like zombies!Horan better be careful not to get hurt by them! Majority of this US team are mediocre, but the Media calls them Superstars!Just think Sam and Julie, than you have the answers!

  9. I don't care that much about respecting the flag, and I'm not conservative. But it does hurt seeing the whole Colombian national team with their hand over their heart, singing their hearts out, in unison. That's a team. They're passionate, focused, and ready. The fragmented USA team looks pathetic. Some players are in deep emotion singing, some are silent with their hand over their heart, other players are standing there and honestly looking kind of bratty? Like it's cool to protest but they look so smug and distracted? This isn't a team. Could they put politics aside just for a moment to mentally prepare right before the game? They're representing the country, they're the greatest sports team in the country by far, they don't have to agree with anything else, but can they just be passionate and in form like Colombia was? I really don't care about conservative values or whatever but it's honestly painful seeing the Colombian team singing for the anthem, wishing the USA could have that too.

  10. Since the last Olympics the USWNT was in decline under Vlatko, nevertheless the pathetic Soccer federation is content with his assistant coach and has no hurry in hiring a qualify coach. They need a clean-up. Get rid of the unpatriotic no anthem-singers first. If they not love US, they cannot represent US, right?

  11. The women play to NOT get hurt . Morgan has lost her heart . She is afraid to get hurt and lose out on the top wages they now receive. Is so plain to any true fan

  12. What is wrong is the midfield. They can't hold a ball, or even pass it. They rely on the wingers to feed the forwards. They waste a creative answer in the midfield by the double 6, we need a true 6, so the midfield can be involved in the attack.

THE MIDFIELD IS THE PROBLEM. THE BIGGY VLATKO IGNORED.

How many times did Lynn Williams and rodman have to go back to defend? Our midfield is porous. I'm sorry, but Sullivan shouldn't be there. She gets run over constantly, hence the reason we waste a midfielder by having her back up Sullivan instead.

Fix the midfield and one of the problems is solved. The rest is rebuilding the courage and confidence in the players themselves.

And, my God, the passes have been atrocious. They juggle the ball which allows the defender to smother them.

  13. Alex Morgan criticism is warranted. She is missing too many opportunities. But the rest of the team isn’t scoring on opportunities or creating them either. There is just a general sucking across the board going on. The exception is Naomi Girma who is just a solid and confident a defender as I have ever seen on the team. Hopefully a new coach will make a difference. Maybe even get Alex out of her slump. Also, FYI announcers, it’s illegal for the penalty taker to hit the ball twice without another player touching it. Hitting the post doesn’t count as a touch.
