37. I haven't been so proud of a sports team since the 2023 University of Oklahoma Sooners Softball team giving thanks to God after winning the national championships. Way to go, young men. Both teams, not just for excelling in their chosen sports, but really for excelling in being decent human beings is something to cheer about.

40. As a coach, I make the decision on who plays/sits. I told my team anyone who wishes to not take part in the anthem to not even show up. I don’t need them or the disrespect or distraction. You either show pride and respect for your country or you do not, there’s no in between. USNWT can kick rocks.

The worst part about the hatred for the USA and its national anthem is that they're dishonoring the soldiers who died to hold up the flag all night long during the British bombardment that led to the star spangled banner being written. Those men went out there and physically held the flagpole up to keep it from falling knowing they would most likely die as the British navy was targeting the flag since it was the symbol of freedom.
