12. One thing I don’t understand. Why would any player give up their values and beliefs because another player bullied or threatened them. That does not bode well for these women athletes. This Rapinoe fool could have been easily handled if they would have stuck together. As a veteran, I applaud Carli Lloyd for standing for our national anthem. As for the other players, I have zero respect for. If you are to much of a coward to stand and acknowledge the flag of the country you represent, then leave the team. The American people are who you represent, not some scumbag who threatens or bullies you.

14. IMO, Rapinoe took over that squ7ad. Why was she allowed to do that? Even she had coaches, didn't she? Yes, Rapinoe was a main person in this, but she was ALLIOW to. Do NOT overlook that. She was allowed to be the main problem. None of the people, and I quote, "in charge of her" like her coaches or the people that got her there, none of them are focused on. 20. As far as who was and was not a good player, I cannot evaluate. Did not watch the USWNT play much over the past decade. They put politics and "social justice" before anything else. I think it would be pretty darn hard to have a national team play and train hard, if not motivated to do so, and part of that would normally come out of playing for a nation, country and people for which you had some pride and wanted to represent. Go listen to a Jim Craig interview about why he played on the 1980 USA Men's Hockey Team. So, I hope this changes. The U.S. of A is far from perfect, but it has been a nation that has lead the world to do better than it otherwise would have done, and one of which Americans can and should be proud. We need to change and have made mistakes, but we have much of which to be proud.

    Can the culture of the USWNT change? If it gets the right coaches, players, etc. Many of those there now need to leave or change.
