  1. Interested comment about the notes: Soccer has a big cultural component. Anyone know the notes, but the culture is what makes music. Cheers from Argentina.

  2. Not even close to the 3rd sport when broadcasts cut away from a soccer final for a commercial, nascar, womens softball or golf! When that stops we can come back to this discussion. With no pro/rel MLS will continue to be the novelty it is.

  3. It’s by far above baseball now 😂 I like baseball but it’s not even close.. they get good overall numbers cause the play 152 games but it’s not watched like soccer now.

  4. I mean you'd expect football to grow in the USA when arguably THE MOST FAMOUS PERSON ON EARTH (Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are the 2 most famous, though CR7 arguably more) starts playing in your league

  5. oh, Matt, you just nailed the US situation on Futbol situation. US knows the notes but didn't figure out the poetry/music of the Futbol. So my humble interpretation to what you just said is: US needs to have a much bigger melting pot of amateur futbolers and coaches (those are the ones who in my beloved country of Argentina end up writing the poetry/music of the Futbol). Worldwide Futbol cultures are built strongly within the transition between Amateurism and Professionalism.
