  1. Agree and just to add to the subject they didn’t call Mia fishel when she was playing in ligamx until Chelsea bought her from Tigres … that shows how they under estimate ligamx and boy they were wrong …

  2. Opinions.
1- once and for all, forget about the old players. Stop cheating the youngster of playing time.
2- It took too long to for the USWNT to get rid of the old gang and now have to pay for it.
3- This is a young team…IT NEEDS TIME AND PLAYING TIME TOGETHER.
4- Play them, play them and play them until they get it: results will come.
5- Coaching has a lot to do with result; player at this level should not have to kick a ball.
6- Many of the Mexican players played collegial soccer in the U.S. so, if they can do it, the US girl should also be able to do it: coaching has a lot to do with it.
.Palacios, Pelayo, Ordonez, Delgado, Karina Rodriguez, King Rodrigez, etc. etc. they played in USA colleges.

  3. I think the Mexican team played a fantastic game. That player myra pelayo is a great shooter. She nearly scored a similar just few minutes before but for a superb save by the goalkeeper. The US women's team does not have the skills to put through balls for their fast wingers to latch onto. Rodman is trying to shoot all the time, when she needs to be trained to cap her runs, with a pass. The coach alluded to the fact that the final pass was missing the whole game. The Mexican girls were better all over the pitch. All the senior players are overrated and do not belong on this team. We need more intelligent passing in the midfield to set up our fast wingers. Maybe we should play counterattack.

  4. How come no one is talking about how the USWNT fans let down their team by not attending to a home game? First time in history that the other team was the local team

  5. If you are a national team in any sport and you are starting someone pushing 40…you need to look yourself in the mirror and wonder if you are picking the top players in the pool. 2 slow centerbacks and 2 slow CM’s getting pressed by Mexico and they couldn’t break it…too slow and too unathletic.

  6. How is it that possible that all these "talented" players cannot get more than one shot on frame. Seems like the players do not mesh well with the system in place (is there really one?). Originally felt that Rodman, Smith were the future…now not so much. Even Rose Lavelle seems to lack magic. Again the issue of not adjusting to the other teams tactics on the fly…totally lacking. The US really got whipped by Mexico.

  7. i hope you can watch Sarah Lubbert at Club America in MX City, she's american, your missing a talented player as her just because she decided to play in mx, don't miss Lubbert, she deverves a call up from the USWNT. Miah Fishel played 2 years in mx and now she's in England at Chelsea.

  8. 😂 Way to make a mountain our of a molehill. 1. Twila is right to rotate the team: less risk of injuries, evenly distributed tournament experience, and everyone gets a look for the Olympics roster which is just 18 players. 2. The stakes are low this whole tournament is just practice for the Olympics, since the US is already qualified. 3. It 's a generation change it will take some time before a new group emerges. Veterans are needed and they are judged based on performance like everyone else. Ovalle, Sanchez, Bernal are veterans with Mexico. 4. The US always lost one or two games at the start of the year : logical since the NWSL season ended 4 months earlier. There is no substitute for competitive games.

  9. I was lucky enough to see both Mexican National Team players Greta Espinoza (played at AWC) and Mexican Goal Keeper Esthephany Barreras Torres play here in Yuma, Az previously on local teams. Which brings up an interesting point that the U.S. scouting system missed these two young ladies and was beat by players they could have scouted. The USA Womens National Team scouting system has become just as bad as the Mens National team now and its blatantly obvious they ignore Latino talent on both the mens and womens sides.
