13. I know they didn't want to get into it, but i believe Tata threw that mexico vs argentina game on purpose. Even before the interviews came out. Only reason i believe that is because of dropping edson for the match. You also have argentina who just lost to saudi arabia and tata would be villain number one if mexico knocked them out in the group stage. I'm not saying he went for the loss, but i think he went into that game aiming for a tie. But that edson decision was weird. I mean Messi amazing goal, edson would've been in that space and messi probably would not have shot. Instead he put in two box to box midfielders with guardado and herrera. lol Plus the goal didn't occur until the 2nd half. Edson should've been subbed in around the 50 minute mark to kill the game more and mexico could play the counter. I mean i could go on and on about that game. But it is what it is and i'm glad mexico didnt make it out because if mexico made it through, there wouldn't be as much pressure as there is on mexico right now.

    For the record, i still think argentina would've won that game.

23. Diego is a great guy, but he wasn’t the best person to bring on to comment / predict on these games, we needed @TheDeadBallTV at least

24. The host got a little too "passionate" there when the topic of Tata selling out Mexico, got brought up. It seems he doesn't to believe it out of pure convenience but all the circumstances surrounding and leading up to that game says otherwise. Not only did he bench Mexicos best player but he treated Alvarez like a foreign player according to him. He was trying to play for the tie by putting 5 players in the back, which Argentina at the very least needed a tie to pass. No one expected Argentina to lose, so desperate but obvious measures were made, to ensure that they wouldn't get eliminated. Also be realistic and acknowledge that all fan bases will talk no matter what, it was another "passionate" moment for the host. It seemed like a rant was on its way a couple of times here.

25. No way he starts Musah at the 6 again after that last game. Although I wouldn't be surprised if we see something like Johnny, Musah, and McKennie in the MF.

And his reasons he doesn’t know if Mexico can pull it out because Jimmy will only play 2 European players. First off that’s BS. When has Jimmy only played with 2 European players. Mexico will most likely start Ochoa-JorgeMontes-Johan(Healthy)-Edson-Chavez-Lozano. That’s 7 out of the 9 European players available. He’s right a lot Chucky being selfish, especially in the last year or so. Santi should start I believe. Antuna is actually not a bad winger he’s done well for Mexico in the recent months but he’s historically never done well against USA. It all depends on how Mexico will play the USA if they can pull
    Off the upset.
