Reyna and Adams make it DOS A CERO for USMNT l El Tri destroyed again

A Tyler Adams golazo and Gio Reyna volley destroyed El Tri Dos a Cero once again as the USMNT three-peat as the only CONCACAF Nations League Champion. Tac and I break down the game.

  1. would be interested in seeing John Brooks, Maloney, and other 6s/8s at center back because Richards doesn't look all that solid yet, and because someday Father Time will catch up to Ream

  2. Musah is a better backup for Reyna than Tillman, in my opinion. Musah also useful if Dest or AR is unavailable so Weah or McKennie needs to play right back. If at least one of Reyna or McKennie is on the field then I prefer Musah's tackling and attacking play to Johnny's

  3. I really thought that if anyone fought or threw objects, security would catch it on camera and make an arrest and/or trespass and exit/ban the dirtbag from the stadium. Apparently you can act like a schizophrenic serial killer at At&t Stadium with no repercussions.

  4. Reyna postgame interview acted like a freakin 10th grade girl who just got asked to prom by the sr quarterback … people were right to question him being called up while other guys playing well were ignored

  5. No one on the USMNT should need an ego boost. Wright got called up & acted like he belonged there as he always does. Aaronson was the opposite & Reyna has the same b1tchmade woe is me complex …

  6. Gio has never looked smooth on the pitch to me, always liked him. He really is great off the bench. I have never thought Weah should be starting, we would’ve been better w/ McKennie there this entire time.

  7. I would prefer a 3-4-2-1 w/ Pulisic as LM, Adams pivot, McKennie RCM, Weah/Dest RM, Tillman & Gio as 2 CAM, Sargent (or Wright) up front. Back 3 of Robinson Richards & Scally

  8. If we are in 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1, the solution is obvious. Pulisic needs to play where Weah does, Gio as CAM, & Tillman is the new no. 10. Sargent (if healthy) or Wright up front.

  9. I don't understand the argument against reyna playing a little deeper. It worked, why not keep trying it out until we see a clear drawback. More and more I'm seeing his strength as VISION more than anything else. This helps him offensively, but also defensively in situations where he know he can take possession and create passes. If he plays a little deeper he'll also be more involved in the game and it generally gives him more freedom to decide when to track back, when to push up, when to create a pass to start transition, when to go for interceptions. I just think in general, we should give him the freedom to wander around as much as possible in order to stay as involved as possible.

  10. 14:13 its never been good fo us twin. how do we counteract it dis time doh? da problem is ussf continually settn da bar too low & alienatin da potential buddn community that continues to amass for football in america.

    great show.

  11. I think there's a case to be made for dropping Reyna deep. At times. When needed. However, I'm not sure Mexico was creating the pressure that necessitated ceding one of our strengths, compromising our offense to the extent it did. But we won 2-0 so ok. Got what I ask for: Gregg didn't try anything too overcooked, merely put a good lineup out there, made good subs. I'll take it!

All in all, rather than an outstanding game on our part… this was more a restrained, very mature performance. THAT is progress. We didn't play outside ourselves, try to do too much, rely on adrenaline, running with our hair on fire. We trusted the gameplay, our talent- brought energy, but played a calm, composed, patient game.

  12. Mexico is going through their phase as many times before the usa has gone through theirs. We ddint qualify for a wc and then booted group state next time dont think we have a rifht to talk bad about mexico. They are searching for a man to lead then too. We all know greg can beat up on concacaf truth is when he plays top end competition we look lost his tactics dont work. We gonna not make it out of the group stage at copa and nothing will change. The usa won becsuse of 2 brilliant plays from 2 people not because greg coached well

  13. Identifying the worst Mexico fans offenders should be relatively easy. They come in large groups, they drink heavily, they sit mid distance from field, where they can throw objects and still hide among first rows. Cameras pointing in those directions are the tool.

  14. The cash cow of the entire Confederation, Mexican fans are also the worst behaved….I'm guessing nothing will be done like always. Go USA! We need to do this against a next level team, very difficult though.

  15. If Ream can still keep up in '26, he should start…we need that veteran leadership and presence on the field in the back. That or Turner picks up that role to give way for CCV.
