  1. If there is not a massive overhaul of how the USMNT approach a World Cup there will be nothing to look forward to for Americans in 2026 as it will only be a repeat or worse!

  2. Stopped watching after "its no shame to lose to the Dutch". Show some humility. In international football the US are an absolute joke. There is only 8 to 10 teams that can win the WC, the rest is just there to fill up the games. Please come back when you can actually bring a team that can compete.

  3. Dutch. Player.s. Play good but its Van gaal a long time. The Dutch. Play verry good attacking. Soccer
But neven win. The wk. Good luck usa 2026. You need yougsters
Van Gaal. Did not. Taken the best players Whit him but take players Whit him. How play like van gaal wandt

  4. We used the openings the left and right back these 2 players did go to far at the front Playing as strikers we only had 2 fast strikers against slow defends you know what happend

  5. You Yanks played some great football at times. You's have some proper talent in that squad. There is no shame going out against Van Gaal ball. Hes a master tactician and the U.S. are very inexperienced. Theres no shame in that. Its all experience to build on. Pro tip….if you have 17 players in the Premier league and La Liga you'll do quarter finals at a minimum every World Cup. Also you need a striker…a striker that plays at one of the top European club teams. Thats when teams will fear you at WC.
P.S. forget 2026 if you dont have a top striker.

  6. louis van gaal is a experienced manager, he took a ageing squad to the semis only losing in a penalty shootout, I think some people think this a huge failure because people underrated how good he and the dutch team is

  7. Just finished looking at the replay and Captain America had all the time in the world to make a move to the left with the ball and score an easy goal. I mean you would expect 90% of MLS players to score in that situation and this dude plays in the Premier League.

  8. I don't think we failed at changing the way how the world sees US Soccer, at least those who are paying attention. Go look at how some of the foreign media talked about the US team. Levels of respect that have never been given to us.

8 years ago, the Belgium game was like the last 10 minutes of the Iran game for 100 minutes. Even though I'm so disappointed by the result (we don't need to rehash some of the big pictures issues with the squad i.e. integration + selection + Gio), we took it to the English and we took it to the Dutch. Poor finishing and shaky transition defense was our undoing (which is has been for 4 years!)

The Dutch came up with a game plan to beat us; LVG liked his side on pure technical skill and doubted our finishing. Christian missed our first big chance, Memphis buried there's, so LVG gambled right. 8-12 years ago the Dutch aren't even bothering coming up with a game plan. They're just going out there and beating us.

  9. After watching some of the experts comments which give me hope for the future and all of the negative comments should be laid on Triple G's feet.
    1. Poor communication from the defense, from Turner and the defenders
    2. Triple G's completely outclassed in coaching
    3. We have talent, now let's get a proper coach

  10. I don't think you should critisize your coach too much. The USA played really well, I have rooted for you all the games actually (except this one against my own country). I love your spirit, the game you play. You could have won when we would have had a bad day or played a bad game. But we didn't, and then it comes down class, and right now the Dutch are just a very solid team. With your team it would have been very difficult to win from the Dutch with any coach. Then again I don't know that much about your coach. Best to switch anyway, more than 4 years is always a bad idea.

Again I love your game, I'll keep an eye on USMNT. Root for us the rest of the tournament, if we win you can say you only lost because you bumped.into the world champion early 😉

  11. We lost to a good team. Could've been a completely different game if Jedi and Dest don't fall asleep at the wrong time and if Pulisic hits that ball in the 4th minute a couple more inches to the right. If you ask me it looked like an even matchup for the most part. Netherlands are a good team and I can very easily see them making it to the semifinals. Not ashamed of our guys in the slightest, they had a good tournament.

  12. I don’t feel super bad about this, but it does still hurt. Their passing quality and first touch quality is truly far superior to ours, we can’t compete with that right now. Must improve our technical ability.

  13. i love soccer hate ggg but for my non soccer friends the offside rule needs to be changed to favor the attacker to get more goals any part of the attackers body on should be onsides more goals more usa fans

  14. Ream gave the ball up way to many times coming out the back and invited too much pressure. Defensive mid out of his depth on the first goal and just lets memphis run past him all alone. Second goal, left fullback walks to the ball and allows the cut back and dest lets daley blind run past him and score on the second. I just turned off the second half because it was over by halftime. Pulusic was the only player who could complete a pass going forward in the first half after his first sniff at goal.

  15. Lol 😂😂😂😂! Keep dreaming. Maybe all the money USA spends on this team will get them to beat Canada or Mexico more regularly. Anything other than that, stick with USA women’s team for hope and avoiding disappointment!

  16. Burhalter's teams outside of MLS have constantly had difficulty scoring. They were low scoring and pretty good defensively in the swedish 2nd division. The USMNT have difficulty scoring, but are reasonably good defensively. How many tournaments and qualifying games were one score even against bad teams. This world cup was no different. They scored 3 goals in 4 games. Not good enough to be considered competitive on the world stage.

  17. Everyone of the media keeps talking about finding a #9 but our problem is system/playing style that doesn't trust technical/creative players (the likes of Gio and Luca) who can create better chances for the strikers to work. There were a bunch of good runs in behind today and no one was brave, or even believe in their skills enough to be able to pick out a play making pass.

  18. 48:54 I think he was talking about Turner's postgame interview with Jenny Taft. I thought it was a jab toward the lack of ideas in attack as well from Berhalter because we heard this before from Pulisic. Not sure if he meant it as a jab though
