  1. The low scoring argument is so funny because if they didn't add 6 or so extra points every time you score in the NFL, it'd literally be no different than the "low" scores in soccer games. 😂

  2. I often compare a soccer match to a boxing match to my fellow ignorant Americans ….it’s basically a test of both teams endurances ( not many breaks ) and stamina as well as a test of blocking the other teams offense while at the same time guarding your side with defending….making sure you have that security of a defensive recovery strategy if your offensive pursuit backfires. 🫣
The goals are similar to KO’s in boxing….and when it happens the crowd goes wild…1 goal is very detrimental for a victory or holding onto a draw just to survive the fight/game !
I equate the top teams of the English premier leagues as the heavyweight boxers….while the lower tier teams are like boxers trying to make a name for themselves and move up to the big boy league! 🥊⚽️

Baseball,…hey I love baseball ( Atlanta Braves fan )also but for a different reason….it can be like watching paint dry I’m not gonna lie ! 😴

  3. All somebody needs to tell this guy is that 3.7 billion people watch soccer(football in the rest of the world) and only Americans watch baseball in any numbers. I reckon at a guess maybe 250 million worldwide watch baseball.

  4. eu people can’t stand it when someone has a different opinion or is different than them in any way. probably why no immigrants would ever want to go to that failure of a continent

  5. I personally don't like any sports I prefer to be outdoors doing things and not sitting on my ass watching somebody else play childish games.

I think watching sports is about the biggest waste of time.
And some people get so wrapped up in "their" team it's pathetic.

  6. "But it's physical chess bro!"… That argument I hear often for NFL assumes that other sports don't rely heavily on positioning and tactics also. I play and follow the chess world, and even chess is moving away from Classical Chess (no time limits, unlimited thinking time between moves) to more Blitz competitions (3 minute games, fast paced) because it makes for better viewing for spectators and in general is more entertaining. Long breaks between plays decreases viewability and ruins the flow of any sport.

  7. New cure for insomnia:

Watch a game of American Football (NFL).

I’m confused by how these ignorant Americans can say soccer is boring (it’s not actually), when NFL is nothing but stop, start with little action.

  8. Football the world's beautiful game will never get attention in America because it's outside America, the only sport I'd watch in America is basketball highlights because they do the Messi body feints 😆 🤣

  9. Anerican suggesting on changing the rule of football…football will change its rule when it becomes least popular sport just now it is number one sport football will not change its rule just for american to watch…..

  10. Anerican suggesting on changing the rule of football…football will change its rule when it becomes least popular sport just now it is number one sport football will not change its rule just for american to watch…..

  11. Soccer/football: A bunch of guys chasing around a spherical bag of air.

Football/American football: A bunch of guys chasing around an ellipsoid-shaped bag of air.

But leave it to The Young Turds to try to turn this into a left-right issue where all of the alleged good people love soccer and hate football and all of the ST00PID MURIKKKANNNNSSS!!!!!! love football and hate soccer.

  12. The vast majority of Americans don’t like sports they can’t compete in and that is why they have basically their own sports. Basketball, American Football, Baseball and Ice Hockey(although the Canadians will disagree). When it comes to global sports they refuse to accept things like football and so much so they changed its name to soccer. It goes back to the silly idea that America is the best at everything and therefore cannot embrace something different. Don’t get me wrong, I love America as a country and for the most part most Americans. It just needs to accept it can’t be the best at everything otherwise it might just as well be called North Korea. Please America try and look at the rest of the world and if you can go and visit some of it. ❤️

  13. All I see in the comments are a bunch of rednecks with the iq of a peanut. Wasn’t expecting more from people who never went of out karens state and can’t point themselves at a map

  14. I kind of developed a theory that it is a psychological factor based on tradition. American fans like sports they are better at like baseball, football, ice hockey, basketball and Summer and Winter Olympic sports where they are super powers and powerhouses. The USA women's team for soccer-football is proof that Americans are very good at the sport, just not the men's team which struggled. It is kind of sad honestly because if people don't share passion for the sport or interest they can't compete with the rest of the world. It is the world's most popular and biggest most competitive sport, but overall the media and if people don't take the sport seriously they will never get good at it. American's may just like doing things they are more comfortable with like traditional sports or that there is bigger money and those sports are more popular in the United States where as the rest of the world soccer-football dominates. It is not a boring sport, it depends on the level of competition and quality of teams and players playing that show really great games or good games. It is true there are games which may not be good, but there are amazing games that come out if anyone actually follows it.

  15. Football is boring and yet not boring, watch the game with no expectations like 2 or three times with a team you can stand and that's how it starts. The beauty of football is in the goal but more action is in the misses and disappointments

  16. This is so ridiculously funny!! At first I thought it was satire.. but then I realized.. nope this is the Young Turks. Now it all makes sense!😂😂 genocidal maniacs to unintentional comedians, yikes

  17. The silliest part of this is the condescending tone and calling Americans ignorant. I get that you have been brainwashed and this is probably not some objective news outlet but saying Soccer is "artistic" in comparison to all the other sports out there is hilarious. I think you spend way too much time thinking highly of yourself and your little bubble of friends.

We have had to rescue most of the world from tyranny and awful people such as Hitler while you've allowed the world to burn and it's all the countries stuck in the past that have Soccer embedded in their heads and try to spread the virus over here. China gave us COVID and you guys gave us Soccer, thanks alot!

All the up and coming sports that are far more artistic and you gave us a bouncing ball… TYT sports is a subjective joke. You didn't even say why you think Baseball is less entertaining or artistic because your brain tapped out I guess. lol

  18. OK Baseball is awful but Soccer is way to boring to watch. We are talking WATCHING btw, not playing. Playing alot of sports is so much funner than watching it. But even playing soccer was one of my least favorite, hitting a baseball was much more fun.

And what does how much money you get paid make something better? That guy was also pretty stupid.

  19. Some people ( mostly americans sadly ) thinks football is a boring game because is a low scoring game, but the fact that is a low scoring game is what makes it special and magical because when the margin of victory is so small just one moment can change everything.

  20. I live in Canada 🇨🇦 and years ago , a teacher I had, made this same soccer/football is boring argument crap. They do nothing but run around . I was tuned out of the class for like the next hour .

  21. Well, America is the only country in the world that took Rugby, changed a few rules, called it American Football, and is proud of it.
    It is sublime.😂

The guy fits the American stereotype perfectly, and he's proud of it!

  22. I don’t think soccer is well suited for watching on tv, which is most Americans only exposure. I actually think tv does a disservice to most sports. Then top it off with how ESPN has damaged sports.
