  1. This team is absolute shambles. They cannot defend for their life. They operated best when attacking but, defensively they are not good enough. I think it’s time for a different coach.

  2. The day THESE reporters/individuals talking about Futbol/Fussball/Futebol players to soccer athleticism player because dismissing fussball player to mechanical athleticism player is a joke. Its a 50s mindset from EPL.
Players have to be a futebol player First!!!
Example: Jordan a GREAT technical basketball Player with the BALL. Who RECEIVED help with other GOOD basketball players. His team did not build a team with athletes. They got players who can learn to be athletes, knowing the sport is critcal.

ESPN/Fox/NBC /ABC/CBS Believe that an athletes can play fussball. Yes, just like pub players they can play but does not mean they're GOOD.

  3. Its just tactics. Their initial press was bad. Germany's passing would draw a forward>they'd step, break the us shape>Germany's CB could make a pass to the pivot>pivot to winger>combination play etc. Either high press man to man or sit deeper and let them pass around

  4. Is it just me or does Kasey Keller (brilliant goalie btw, loved him and wished he'd signed for City in 90s!) look like a bald WWF/WWE's I.R.S? Every time I see him I just think "he's going to 'write off' anyone that disagrees!"

  5. It seems to me, it's the coaching. Our current coach, Greg, does not have the soccer knowledge of other coaches. I think our players are as good in many, if not most, cases as the players on the teams we play against. Coaching, coaching, coaching.

  6. Bringing back berhalter was the biggest mistake that could've been made and playing a 4-3-3 is right behind it teams every where are playing a 4-2-3-1 knowing we don't have the strongest cbs really gives a disadvantage and him as a coach should see that if the fans do

  7. What a specialist that says usa were bad for losing to germany, forgetting that they js got a new coach and beat france in the first match after flick. He's still stuck in january

  8. How is everyone saying usa coach is in over his head and usa can only do it against uzbekistan and co, when they just lost to soon one of the best teams itw and on paper already one. They only had one other loss this calendar year and have other than that been getting better steadily and already showing massive improvements to years prior

  9. People shouting that if the US Won, it’s nothing serious because “ITS A FRIENDLY.” Now that the U.S. lost everyone is like “YOU SEE THE US CANT COMPETE” lol.

Fact is the U.S. decided to play defensively in the second half and that’s what hurt them. Germany goals for the most part were off of bad defensive mistakes. The last 15 minutes or so you saw the US take the game back to Germany and it was more like the 1st half. Overall bad tactics cause the game for the US at least it prevented them from being more competitive for the whole second half.

  10. The idea that the USMNT thought they could dribble and pass around Germany is beyond laughable, there isn’t a single American that would get into that German team yet they thought they would dominate possession? It’s hilarious watching the coaching be so arrogant

  11. Here in Germany our TV experts had the USA as a slight favourite to win this game. We played really really bad and unorganzied in defense lately and especially counter attacks are our weak spot.. The USA on the otherside is really really good with countering. Iam really happy with the win although the first half wasnt that great defense wise.

  12. As a German i guess US is in a trade off. Players in Big Teams, yet not experienced and many to play like Big Teams. A Union Berlin Style of game (last season) would fit more till quality arrives in numbers. It may not look nice, but its efficient.

  13. Can we just acknowledge what US has achieved in football over the years?
On the FIFA world rankings they are ranked higher than Germany. So they were actually favourites to win against Germany.
Remembering the first appearance of US teams that is a achievement and i think they are still just at the beginning. In 20 years the USA will probably be a football powerhouse
