  4. Once again, impressed with Coach Kilgore. Cannot be an easy situation. She seems to be giving the players their ownership of constructing the most competitive team by encouraging open lines of communication when things need tweeked or not working.

  10. Players that NEED to start tonight are Girma, Shaw, Lavelle and Sonnett. I also think Krueger should start at RB because Linda Caicedo is so dangerous on the left wing and I believe Krueger is one of the best 1v1 defenders in the world. To round out the back line I would put Davidson next to Girma and put Nighswonger at LB. I would choose Korbin Albert to start in the midfield with Rose and Sonnett but I’m sure it’ll be Horan instead. Shaw on the right wing, Smith up top (hoping to see more from her tonight), and Lynn Williams on the left. We’ll need Lynn defensively tonight and I think her and Nighswonger on the left side could be magical since they play club together in the same positions. I would love to see Crystal Dunn start in the midfield over Horan or Albert as well. A double 6 of sonnett and Dunn with rose in front of them could be nice. Maybe Horan up top as a target forward? That would be interesting… good luck to the girls tonight!!!!!
